It works!

Linksys AE1000-RM Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0
Linksys AE1000-RM Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0

Pros: It just works. Didn't need to install the stupid Linksys software, possibly because I already had Cisco installed for the router. Am running the dongle's connection through Windows' network connection dialog.

Cons: Only connecting at 150mbps, but I can't remember if the router is 300 or 150 anyways.

Overall Review: I had bought this same dongle previously, and the dongle forced me to install the Linksys program, so I gave it to my husband. Was expecting this dongle to do the same, but was happily surprised when it didn't need the software. From now on, my network hardware is probably going to be through Linksys. They've gotten much better since 2003.

Great mouse, wish it lasted

Logitech M570 910-001799 Silver and Blue 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Trackball Laser Trackball
Logitech M570 910-001799 Silver and Blue 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Trackball Laser Trackball

Pros: The mouse is extremely comfortable and easy to get used to (even though it seems like it would be weird using your thumb). It really lessened the pain from carpal tunnel syndrome, since you don't have to move the mouse/your wrist around.

Cons: Unfortunately, it seems these units always end up having a bad problem really early in their lifespan. The first one I had ended up having a broken scroll wheel, so I called Logitech and they sent me a second one. The second one started having double-click issues about 6 months into using it. It wasn't so bad, but a few more months down the road and it just got worse. Now EVERY time I click it double clicks, and it will lose a button-press in the middle of doing things (try dragging and dropping when the button won't stay activated).

Overall Review: I will say, in total I've had this mouse for 4 years, I only have to replace the battery once a year, and the trackball is great! I just wish the rest of the hardware was as good as the trackball portion, especially for $50. I really wish I could buy this mouse from a different company, in the hopes that the quality would be better. For the lifespan of 90% functionality of this mouse (which is about 6 months max, after that you either lose the scroll wheel, the back/forward buttons, or the mouse clicks/holds), I would be willing to pay about half of this price every few years. If it lasted through the warranty period without having an issue, I wouldn't mind paying the $50, but it doesn't. Considering this is the second one that I bought and both have problems (and had problems within 6 months of ownership), I'm on the fence about buying a third to replace the one with the clicking issues.

DOA

TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: None.

Cons: Unfortunately I did not have the chance to check this drive prior to the 30 day return policy. The drive is DOA. I was hoping to be able to contact Toshiba support via email, as I work during normal business hours and don't have much chance to contact companies via phone, but there is NO email support listed on their site for support for internal hard drives. Waste of money. Now I know what company to never give money to again.

Not for PS3

ORICO Tool Free 2.5 inch USB 3.0 SATA External Hard Drive Enclosure for 2.5" SATA HDD and SSD Support UASP and 6TB Drive Max -Black
ORICO Tool Free 2.5 inch USB 3.0 SATA External Hard Drive Enclosure for 2.5" SATA HDD and SSD Support UASP and 6TB Drive Max -Black

Pros: Very compact, well made, holds the drive snugly and securely. No plastic smell, pieces fit together well.

Cons: Does not work for backing up the PS3. Might still work for just hosting data, but the PS3 can't seem to write to the drive.

Overall Review: Disappointed that I won't be able to use it for backups.

Not for PS3

ORICO 6619US3-BK SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to SATA Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5" and 3.5" HDD, SSD [8TB Support]
ORICO 6619US3-BK SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to SATA Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5" and 3.5" HDD, SSD [8TB Support]

Pros: Very well made, no plasticy smell, sturdy and seems to work fine. No issues with the power button.

Cons: Does not work for backing up your PS3. :c I was hoping I could use one of the many leftover internal drives that I have (which are verified working), and it is not compatible with backing up the PS3.

Overall Review: Disappointed that it doesn't work for the reason I bought it. The PS3 does read it, and might be able to read the data on the drive, but apparently cannot write to it. The best I've gotten is to 3%, and then the backup process dies. It also says it'll take upwards of 14 hours.

Re: James R's Review

CyberPower CP1000PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS Systems - 1000VA/600W, 120 VAC, NEMA 5-15P, Mini-Tower, Sine Wave, 10 Outlets, LCD, PowerPanel®
CyberPower CP1000PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS Systems - 1000VA/600W, 120 VAC, NEMA 5-15P, Mini-Tower, Sine Wave, 10 Outlets, LCD, PowerPanel®

Pros: James R. is either incorrect or did not bother to google for CyberPower's page for this product. Their site says: "PFC Sinewave UPS Systems – Pure Sine Wave | 100% Active PFC compatible" and "1000VA / 600W Pure Sine Wave UPS"

Cons: Looks like a good unit, I'll be getting it in soon. I don't usually purchase PFC power supplies, but figure it's better to be prepared.

Overall Review: It's literally the first two sentences on the company's product page.
