Most Favorable Review

Good software interface.

TP-Link 2.4GHz N300 Long Range Outdoor CPE for PtP and PtMP Transmission | Point to Point Wireless Bridge | 9dBi, 5km+ | Passive PoE Powered w/ Free PoE Injector | Pharos Control (CPE210)
TP-Link 2.4GHz N300 Long Range Outdoor CPE for PtP and PtMP Transmission | Point to Point Wireless Bridge | 9dBi, 5km+ | Passive PoE Powered w/ Free PoE Injector | Pharos Control (CPE210)

Pros: Easy to configure as a Access Point, Client, Repeater, Bridge, AP Router, AP Client Router. Can setup as a Static IP or Dynamic (dhcp). Robust Wireless options. System Logs. Built in Spectrum Analyzer. Antenna Alignment tool. Sets up outside

Cons: This is a "Passive POE" device. Meaning that modern POE Switch will not provide power to the devices.. This Device requires 24v. My switch provides 48V over the line. It is not able to negotiate with the device to switch on power. Had to use the included POE transformer to make the antenna work.

Overall Review: Perfect to setup remote access for my camera. Was able to mount the CPE210 on a outside location to my line of sight wireless camera.

Best door bell camera I have used.

REOLINK Smart Doorbell Outdoor Camera w/Chime, 5G/2.4GHz WiFi Version, 5MP Ultra HD Night Vision, 180 Wide Angle Motion Human Detection, 2 Way Talk, Local Storage Works w/Google Assistant
REOLINK Smart Doorbell Outdoor Camera w/Chime, 5G/2.4GHz WiFi Version, 5MP Ultra HD Night Vision, 180 Wide Angle Motion Human Detection, 2 Way Talk, Local Storage Works w/Google Assistant

Pros: - Has an App for phone and PC. - Works with Blue Iris. - 2.4 and 5 G WIFI option. - Has a RJ45 network connection for easy setup (If wiring is available can be used instead of Wifi) -Camera can be purchased with a POE option. - NO Subscription necessary - Reasonably priced. - Runs on Door bell transformer (No batterys!). - comes with AC/DC power supply. (if needed.. i used it to setup the camera on my desktop before installing). - Has Own chime. - High Resolution

Cons: - does not use existing door bell chime. - has own chime (good and bad) - mounting screws are cheap had to use different ones. stripped slot. - Best to setup at desk to turn on options - Lacks specifications and User Guide

Overall Review: I replaced a Amcrest AD110 door bell with this Doorbell. Several years ago I tried the Ring system. I did consider the Amcrest AD410. but chose this because, I did not like Amcrest desktop support. I had to rely on Amcress phone app to make changes. Reolink is much easier to setup and configure. I live in a resort area. My door bell is located at location where you can see over 60 2.4 SSID. (see photos of location) In order for the 2.4 Wifi to work, I had to install a wifi Access Point close by to keep connections up. The AD110 is a 2MP camera and License plate recognition was unreliable so I am trying this camera which has 4.9 MP (per blue iris). I also chose this Camera to connect to the 5G wifi, which is not as crowded. The Amcrest AD110 worked with my existing door bell chime but failed after a few weeks. Many house has a front and back door bell. So I am using the Reolink provided chime for the front door bell and the backdoor door bell for my existing door bell. when wired in Parallel, The transformer power to the camera works fine. And the backdoor bell works without causing issues with the camera. The product description was not clear so I had much anxiety when purchasing because I wasn't sure it would. The product is hands down great product over my other options. I use Blue Iris software for my camera systems (which supports all of the bells and whistles of door bell systems) . I have not tested the standard features that various cameras and apps provided. (motion detection facial recognition) . A quick look at Reolinks desktop App looks like would work fine.

NVME drive, good price. Install was easy

Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 3D2, QLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDPEKNW010T8X1
Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 3D2, QLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDPEKNW010T8X1

Pros: Very competitive price Much Faster than SATA Very Fast system power up, Noticeably fast... Easy to install No cables like SATA drives. INTEL data migration tool (clone software) worked perfectly

Cons: Slower than some other NVME drives. (not really a con, still so fast it doesn't matter) Did not come with screw for m2 slot lock down Had to download data migration tool from INTEL took a minute to find the right software to download

Overall Review: I purchased this NVME drive from a newegg special offer. It was in the SATA price ranges and much less than the current NVME prices. I think that NVME drives will be replacing SATA in the future and as production volumes increase, prices will drop. I had to find a screw for the m2 slot. it is very small. I am not sure where the average person would find one, they are not the standard sizes used to lock down regular computer drives. I was lucky to scavenge a screw off an old mother board that had an old wireless card. The specs show that the data transfer rates are significantly less than other competitor's NVME drives . The difference between the NVME data rates really is not a problem. On my system the Windows login prompt shows up immediately after the motherboard diagnostic screen closes (I have the diagnostic screen turned on). My old SATA SSD drive performance was fast. However, from a usability standpoint the OLD SATA drive performance compares to a car versus a rocket. I had to login to the INTEL support website to download the cloning software. I think the Intel Data Migration tools is a front end interface to the Acronis software. I also downloaded INTEL's Solid-State Drive toolbox. I moved my 500 GB SSD drive to this 1TB NVME drive. The cloning software took about 5 minutes to setup. and about 30 unattended minutes to complete. I physically removed the OLD drive and rebooted the system. Everything worked perfectly

Huge amount of Storage

Kingston 128GB DataTraveler G4 USB 3.0 Flash Drive (DTIG4/128GB)
Kingston 128GB DataTraveler G4 USB 3.0 Flash Drive (DTIG4/128GB)

Pros: Large Capacity. Reasonably fast with window xcopy or Linux cp. Very good price! Quick Delivery

Cons: None .

Overall Review: I did not find copying unreasonably slow. xcopy from theDOS command line works much faster than windows drag and drop. When plugged into Linux, (Old Pentium 4 ). copy also seems reasonably fast. (when compared with other USB Sticks) Was able to store my complete Audio CD collection on this Drive. I have a HomeTheater System. I plug this thing into my TV and my play List goes forever. I have yet to try it in my Car Radio's USB port. It replaces my TEAC 100 CD component player. It did take me a while to rip my CD to my Computer Hard Drive, after which I copied them to Kinston Flash Drive.

Lots of promise no results

I ordered a POE camera, Ad said ships from china, expect delivery in 5 to 32 days. Received tracking number and shipment notice (in Chinese. yeah google translate). Waited 35+ days. I then asked for status. asked to wait. for confirmation no answer. Total wait time from time of purchase over 45 day. Now asking for a refund. New Egg customer support is VERY GOOD. Third party seller unable to deliver, and unable to keep me informed.
