Got it to work with Ubuntu 13.04 64bit

Pros: On an Asus EB1503 with dual boot Win7 & Ubuntu 13.04. Came packaged with the latest driver 4.2.5 Used the following instructions to load the driver (from Asus site, same driver): Take Linux driver, unzip TWICE (don't know why Asus did this, but it trips up some people on the forums) Here is the terminal commands: cd (your folder with the 2x unzipped drivers) make sudo make install sudo modprobe 8812au The Win7 install went well with the CDrom, but have to check the speeds.
Cons: Like always, Asus instructions are AWFUL for linux; but they did update the drivers for a near painless install. I'm just glad I didn't have call their support line.
No Win10 driver

Pros: Worked out of box with Ubuntu 14.04, no driver required.
Cons: In win10, with new PC (Asus GR*) blue screen with error "Kernel Auto Boost Lock Aquisition"
Overall Review: Asus needs updated drivers for Win10
Nice little pc, BUT no BluRay

Pros: Nice compact pc, very quiet and discreet. I purchased this with a 27" asus monitor to replace an aging 21" AIO pc.
Cons: Does not play blu-ray discs, reason I purchased this pc in the first place.
Overall Review: I purchased this nettop pc primarily because the USA Asus page states that the dvd player was a 'blu-ray combo' on their specifications section of their product page website. usa.asus.com/Eee/EeeBox_PC/EeeBox_PC_EB1503/#specifications Turns out it is not, it is actually a sony ad-7690h dvd which will not play blu-ray.
