Bad, but got good
Pros: It worked, eventually. The monitor did not turn and the power button light did not light up when plugged in. The computer recognized the monitor, however, so I just figured that the monitor was broken in some unfortunate, yet mysterious way.
Cons: It didn't work to start with. I did an RMA, then, just to satisfy my curiosity, I performed a search and found the key information that led me to how to get the monitor to work.
Overall Review: This is how I got the monitor to work- With the monitor plugged in: 1. press and hold the power button 2. with the power button still pressed in, unplug the monitor from the power cord 3. continue to hold the power button in for 30-60 seconds (mine took about 40 seconds) 4. plug the power cord back in while still holding the power button 5. release the power button 6. press the power button on time 7. VOILA!!?! The previously, seemingly dead monitor now displays the startup screen. I really, really, really hope that this helps someone else. This was frustrating me very much. Now, I have a very nice second monitor. I do not know what causes this beyond the superstitious "electronic demon" that seems to possess the wire and circuit assemblies that compose such abstrusities as this.
Could be much better
Pros: -Customizable -Well made, quality parts and materials - There are many positives about this product, but I'm not writing this review to go over the positives. I simply want to make people aware of the heavy feeling in the hand. This can be a very good thing depending on how you like to have the mouse feel in your hand.
Cons: It's too heavy for me, even with all of the weights removed. I have a Logitech G5 that is light as can be. After gaming for a while with the R.A.T.7 my wrist hurts from the side to side movement. This has never happened with my old mouse. It's great to have the capability to add more weight, but I would prefer if the lowest weight possible was very low. I know the base is metal, but it feels like a tank in my hand; with all of the benefits of toughness and downsides of weight. This is only a con for me, though, because others may love the heavy feeling. To them the weight would be perfect.
Overall Review: High grade construction, quality parts. May be too heavy for some users.
Great stand especially for the money
Pros: Very nice case. Sturdily made. It has two notches for different stand/viewing angles. I like it; I'm typing this review using the case and tf300. Would definitely recommend this case. All of the buttons and ports, etc. are accessible. Fast shipping, too.
Cons: None that I can see.
Overall Review: If you're on the fence about this case I would say to get it.
Pros: - Holds the PS3 in a safe and secure manner - Charges 2 sets of move controllers - Charges 2 dualshock 3 controllers - Has 4 powered USB ports (taking the PS3 up to 5 ports (2-1+4=5)) - Looks good and has a nice finish
Cons: Can't think of any.
Overall Review: Solved my problem. I was using tape from the flat screen to hold the PS3 in an upright position. Tape < dreamGEAR Power Stand. I was a bit surprised at how well the stand held the PS3 (it looked a little shallow at first). Great product would recommend to others.
Pros: What a great idea this thing is. The internal drives seem to usually be the cheaper option and now I have a tool which allows me to switch them out whenever I want.
Cons: Wish I had more usb space/bandwidth/power, muahahahahaha!
Overall Review: Good overall product. Would purchace again. Thanks NewEgg for the timely shipping in the midst of the holiday season. Product shipped same day, as usual.
