Most Favorable Review

Great Monitor, Brilliant Colors and great resolution!

LG 31" IPS LCD Monitor IPS 5 ms 4096 x 2160 (4K) HDMI, DisplayPort 31MU97
LG 31" IPS LCD Monitor IPS 5 ms 4096 x 2160 (4K) HDMI, DisplayPort 31MU97

Pros: - Amazing Color on a 10 Bit display - Full true 4K (4096x2160) cinema format - Great ports and overall design. - Single panel 4K monitor with 60hz refresh rate

Cons: - 4K 60hz will only work on the Displayport and not HDMI (1.4)

Overall Review: I owned a Acer B6 B326HK for a week before returning it and getting this monitor. There is a DEFINITE difference between the two when it comes to color reproduction. The 10 Bit IPS display has smoother gradients and much better overall color performance than the Acer. The acer is slightly bigger in physical real estate, however the LG had more pixels and I can view both monitors with out any scalling. It might be different for others. I sit about 2 feet away from my monitor. * I am a video editor by trade and this monitor is FANTASTIC for any non linear editing work and color correction.

Amazing Upgrade

PNY GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB CG EDITION, VCGGTX980T6XPB-CG
PNY GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB CG EDITION, VCGGTX980T6XPB-CG

Pros: - This is a beast! I am video editor and can preview 1080P footage from my Adobe Premiere Timeline at Full Resolution without any issues!!! Going from a GTX 570, that's a huge jump in performance.

Cons: - Price, but I can't really complain about getting near Titan X performance at ti prices.

Overall Review: I was put off by the packaging. PNY could have done a little better for a $600 plus card. It cam in a cardboard box... yes it was black, but nothing nice about it. I know it's trivial and I am not one of those guys who will take away a star for such detail. The CARD is AWESOME! Just buy it.

CyberPower Intelligent LCD UPS CP1350AVRLCD 1350 VA 815 Watts 10 Outlets UPS

Pros: Supports my PC (Corsair AT650, GTX 570), two monitors and a couple of external drives. Have had power outages and fluxes where this unit has performed without a hitch. The interface is quite nice as well.

Cons: SUPER HEAVY - But I suppose that comes with the territory.

Perfect for a film editor!

EVGA GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 012-P3-1570-RX
EVGA GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 012-P3-1570-RX

Pros: I am a film editor and spent quite a bit of time deciding on what kind of graphic card I wanted to go with and the GTX 570 is at a great price and it works miracles with AE 5.5 and Pr 5.5. The mercury playback engine gets quite a kick from this card. LOVE it. + I can run Skyrim on Ultra and it's just smooth. I am running on 4GB of RAM!

Cons: N/A (Non yet)

Pros: Love the colour, looks great through my case window. Solid SATA cable. I have a 3Gbps max and combined with my SSD I couldn't ask for more.

Cons: None
