You want a monitor that spanks?
Pros: * It spanks * Loads of features that were overkill for what I needed, but regardless, it is a wickedly good monitor * Great looking, quality images, video clarity, game responsiveness
Cons: * The only issue I had was really a little oversight with the monitor mount that I got, but I would have loved a more flat back for mounting to be better. I had to disassemble the backing plate to serve as a shim for my mount
Overall Review: Despite the mounting, again as I stated earlier, it spanks. Even got another monitor as my secondary for productivity, but it wasn't the 1440p version (the FC model, 1080p).
I mean, it does what it's supposed to do
Pros: It supports my monitors which are pretty light. Looks and feels of decent quality.
Cons: I can see this mount being a nuisance for heavier monitors. Making adjustments to the tension of vertical motion or even getting the cylinders to adjust right was tedious. I didn't feel comfortable trying out a grommet mount because of my desk so I used the clamp. However it would have been nice for the clamp to have a little more flexibility or accommodate desks with metal undercarriages. The VESA mount for the back of the monitor was fine, except my monitors back isn't completely flat so I had to use the desk stand and use the existing back plate as a shim. The thumb screw/bolt was unnecessarily wide and I would have been happier with a slimmer profile bolt.
Overall Review: If they paid more attention to little details like the adjustment, not having a cumbersome mount for light monitors and provide more mounting options to accommodate different desk types then I could hole-heartedly recommend it to other people. It does its job but have a shot of liquor on standby.
