Pros: - for the PS5 - easy to install - glad to have way more storage - very quick read/writes, so able to play games saved to the drive

Cons: - expensive - doubtless similar drives could do a similar job

Overall Review: - buy if you want to stay safe with a recommended drive and can afford the expense - don't buy if you're good with a slight risk and are value-conscious

Pros: Easy install, plenty of storage. Did plenty of research (especially YouTube) and Exos received plenty of good reviews compared to IronWolf Pro (Exos has a longer warranty and optimizes power draw while idle) and WD Red (which the Exos is replacing - Seagate tends to be more reliable)

Cons: A bit noisy in reads and writes (similar to coffee brewing - or percolating for those of us of a certain age) but very quiet when idle

Overall Review: Definitely recommended if you're looking for inexpensive storage (especially when on sale). My use case is for archival storage (A/V files) and clone backups (and Time Machine) for Intel I-7 Mac Mini
