Glad to have it
Pros: It's amazing how so much storage can fit into such a small thing. Comes in handy. I like the way how devices use these as an external SSD with their latching slots. It makes quick swaps easy,
Cons: Hard to find a good small USB A 3.0 adapter for use in laptops. I think that's odd.
Overall Review: Glad to have it.
Very handy, good to have.
Pros: What I like most about these, is that adapters like these are very necessary to help make computers backward/forward compatible. It helps make not-upgrading/upgrading more workable/affordable. Too bad more manufacturers don't seriously consider this.
Cons: Least liked: The pins/sockets in Molex connectors tend to wiggle around in its holder. This makes proper alignment and connecting them hard to do. I've damaged several connectors that way. It's best to carefully connect it, then hot-glue the wires from the back to ensure they don't wiggle around next time, and remain properly aligned.
Overall Review: Glad to have it. Glad somebody makes them.
Glad to have it
Pros: These batteries are better than Nickel-based batteries. I'm switching. The magnetic absorption cables are pretty handy. Wish they were sold separately. .
Cons: The magnetic absorption cables are pretty handy. Wish they were sold separately. Also wish I can find these in AAA size.
Overall Review: Good quality, good value. Glad to have it.
Needs better pre-buy info
Pros: Works and is usable.
Cons: Average public needs to know what format these are formatted in. It helps to be reminded of the limits of fat32, exfat, or whatever. Just because device makers switched to newer tech, doesn't mean consumers did. Backward compatibility has always been and continues to be a big problem. A little more info and reminders of compatibilities/limits goes a long way. You're the "experts"; help us out a bit. It can't be that hard. Trial and error can get expensive regardless of the product. A more universal product appeals to more universal customers. Economics 101.
Overall Review: Application info/specs can be even more important than the quality of the product.
Not functional. Not ready for the public.
Pros: Has good potential, but unable verify. Can't access it.
Cons: After installing the OS, and initializing it, I couldn't access it. Then, I couldn't access any tech support from their web-site. Am now returning it.
Overall Review: They need to get their act together.
Nice. But...
Pros: I like the auto/manual selection, the size/shape, the LCD display, and the dual voltage feature. The different modes of charging is the best feature.
Cons: I'ts plagued with antique traditional design style. 1) It needs an on/off switch (even tho most chargers don't have them). I guess I'll have to put in my own. 2) It needs both volts and amps indicators (even tho most chargers don't have them). 3) It needs an on-board cable-management feature (even tho most chargers don't have them); A velcro strap attached to a magnet for custom placement would be nice. I guess I'll have to make my own. 4) The charging cables should be longer. It's more important to have longer charging cables than a long power cable. It's easier to get an extension cable close to the charger, than it it is to get the charger close to the battery. 5) It would be nice if it also charged a 6V and an 18V battery. 6) The 12V LED seems to be dim and hard to see. 7) An explanation of the yellow/blue/red charging LEDs is absent. What do they mean? 8) A better label with the specs of the charger should be on it. 9) A soft strap carry-handle would be nice for when your hands are full with other things. I guess I'll have to make my own. 10) Two more feet near the center would be nice to prevent sliding on weird surfaces.
Overall Review: It is a good basic core from which a good/convenient charger can be made. works well.
Very useful
The functionality is self explanatory. But, the power-out port is usually not available on most front panels; glad to have it. Two suggestions: include an adapter enabling power from a SATA connector, and label the other connectors so you know what ports they supply (example, which of the two SATA data plugs supply the eSATA port, and which supplies the standard SATA port? If only one empty port is available on the motherboard, you need to know which use/not use.).
