Great Motherboard for Simple Builds

Pros: - Makes the mechanics of the build easy (toolless M.2, locking PCIE x16 slot, placement of USB/fan/SATA headers) - Great connectivity on rear panel - Gaming performance has been smooth so far
Cons: - PCIE lane sharing has can for you into some tough decisions on card and derive placement; PCIE_1, PCIE_2 and M.2_2 share PCIE lanes. - The placement of the PCIE power header at the bottom of the board makes all but the thinnest cards unusable in PCIE_3. My SoundBlaster AE-7 will not fit in it.
Overall Review: This board is good for simple builds (one graphics card, 1-2 M.2 drives, no other PCIE cards) and will provide great performance for that pattern. Two recommendations I have if using this setup: - If you have 2 M.2 drives, use M.2_1 for your primary and M.2_4 for the other to avoid pulling PCIE lanes away from PCIE_1. - If you plan on using a CPU air cooler, check your clearances on the left and right. The board's fascia on the left is fairly tall and close to the CPU slot. On the right, the RAM DIMM slots are close as well. Tall RAM DIMMs will give you trouble with an air cooler.
Solid PSU, Easy to Work With

Pros: - Easy to build with, fully modular design with a good set of cables included including the new port for 40 series Nvidia cards - Fan is very quiet with a button to toggle between running all the time or only when temp threshold is exceeded - No issues with the product at all, build has been complete for a few weeks - Comes with a storage pouch for extra cables, nice touch
Cons: - Only con is not with the product itself, but the MSI promotion tied to it, marketed with Star Wars Outlaws included, but promotion was closed due to a limited number of keys available, all had been redeemed buy the time I bought this...just check the promotion details if it is a deciding factor
Overall Review: Overall, this is a solid PSU that is easy to work with and doesn't require any attention afterward (which is really what I look for) I would recommend this line of PSUs and would use the same line at a higher wattage if I ever need to buy for more power again. Personal recommendation, I used a site that helped with determining needed wattage, helped right size the one I selected
