This has worked well
Pros: Read all the cards that I wanted it to and had no trouble. We ended up buying 3 of these. The fact that it closes up makes it nice for travel.
Cons: None.
Disappointed
Pros: Mostly copies a drive while in Windows XP.
Cons: Doesn't make an exact copy. I find Ghost 2003 did a better job backing up a drive if you can access it.
Perfect router for us
Pros: We replaced one of our FVX538 (yes it has a lifetime warranty!) and saw an improvement in performance so we ended up switching all three. Ping times improved from 90ms to 20ms across the same network with EVERYTHING staying exactly the same. Needed tech support to get the configuration right. If Netgear didn't have an internal problem with configuration, I'd give it 5 stars! I'd still recommend this router anything that in this price range.
Cons: I had to get support to help me set the router up and they had trouble getting it to work correctly. Finally by chance, the tech got it working. There was some kind of problem in the unit that prevented it from working. I actually felt sorry for him since neither of us configure it out. Power cycling it might have solved the problem if we had been able to do it.
Overall Review: Tech support was excellent and was worth the $130 fee. I was amazed by the improvement in speed. The configuration wasn't a really a problem but I couldn't get it to work and neither could the tech until he started playing with it and it just started working. I really should give it 5 stars, but it isn't perfect, just the best.
Worked for a while
Pros: If it stops working, there can be no pros.
Cons: Worked fine for a few weeks, then quit. Replaced it with a Rosewell like I've used before. Spend the extra bucks!
Cheap but it works!
Pros: We use this as a replacement board just just about any dumb terminal we have. It works with any memory or processor that we've throw at it. There are 4 or 5 now in the company and we've had very little problems especially finding drivers. We've used it with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and as a home server. I think that this is a no hassle value board.
Cons: No second fan connection, which I never through to check for. Only 2 SATA connector and 1 IDE which is specified, but I never read so I'm mentioning it here.
Pros: Plenty of power and excellent number of connectors. It might not be a poor choice for a good stable power supply.
Cons: The "Cooling Silencer" sloan is misleading. It's fairly noisy. Much noiser that I would have expected.
Overall Review: While the cables are very long, they can be wire tied up.
