Pros: - Easy Installation/ Setup
- Great wifi range
- As Fast as your ISP subscription
- 8 Gigabit ports
- WAN Aggregation
Cons: - really a minor nitpick but for the price it came with a cat5e cable instead of cat6
Overall Review: I upgraded from an Asus RT-AC3100. its pretty much the same design. Just a heads up if your using the new Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 as your router i advise you not to turn on QoS it will cap your download speed I have Xfinity HSD Blast Pro 500/15 when i turned on the Adaptive QoS with manual setting for bandwidth my dl speed drops to 50 mbps its the same for my old RT-AC3100 but if you have 500+ dl speed i suggest to leave the QoS off since you have a lot of bandwidth to share.
Pros: Fast processor!
Overall Review: I bought this for my new build. my old rig from 2012 finally gave out and since I'm building a new one I decided to buy this process to last for years and I'm only going to use this rig mainly for gaming and some light photo editing.
Pros: Alot of customization
Looks really good
Cons: Might be heavy and large for some people.
Hard to use on some fast paced fps( it's more of a personal issue I like to grab the mouse and lift it for fast turning it's my habit when playing fps games like apex legends I find myself accidentally pressing one of the button on the side of the mouse which causes the character to do something else in the middle of a gun battle.
Battery life is not that long, I configure the mouse to go on sleep mode if not in use after 5 mins, i got it fully charge but the next day the battery drops below 50% I need to look into it might need to update the firmwar3
Overall Review: It's a pretty solid mouse
Pros: - really fast card
- ran bf3 and skyrim in ultra
- low power consumption
Cons: not really a con but they need to update drivers soon..
Overall Review: i bought 2 of this card for SLi and im running 3 monitor setup. i can run bf3 on ultra res 6020x1080 but on some places it stutters and im running skyrim on the same settings and it stutters on some parts of the game.
btw the only diff between SC and SC+ is the backplate which u can get from evga directly thats what i did bought a highflow bracket too..
Pros: - great for cable management.
- the inside of the case have alot of room.
- its pretty solid
Overall Review: i replaced my CM Sniper case with this one dont get me wrong i love that case but when it comes to cable management ill go with the 650D its much more cleaner than the sniper
Pros: - this thing is really fast didnt know what i was missing till i switched from the normal Hard Drive.
- the firmware was up to date didnt have to do anything at all straight swap, installed win 7 home premium without a prob.
Cons: - the price is up there but then again you get what you paid for.
- only 240gb
Pros: - 12GB of Ram
- XMP profile works for Asus Rampage III Formula
Cons: not really a con but i can only run this @ 1600Mhz i havent really done any overclocking since my old 6gb Dominator is rated for 1600mhz just did a quick swap and it worked didnt have to change anything in the bios.
Overall Review: i upgraded from 6gb Corsair Dominator and it doesnt really hurt to have some extra gigs of ram just incase my girl needs to use my pc for pic editing.
Pros: - Easy to Install
- Easiest way to Liquid cool your CPU.
- I upgraded from a Cooler Master V6 and my temp improved alot.
Cons: - The fan sound. it gets really loud if you put it on max
- Fan controller is attached to the waterblock, if you want to change fan speed youll have to open your case and press it unless you have Corsair Link Commander.
Overall Review: I have an i7 930 OC to 3.8Ghz on my CM V6 i get 40c at idle and if im playing BF3 my temps go up to 79c but now that i switched to the H100 my idle is 36c and if i play BF3 it doesnt even go over 44c, i also did Prime95 for 1 hour max temp was 56c thats actually i big difference.
its worth the money in my opinion.
Pros: - Quality of the Picture is amazing
- now i can see the diff between HD movies and BD with its 120hz
- i like the design
Cons: maybe its just me but i cant seem to connect online when i wired it to my router it fails to connect..
Overall Review: what i noticed its that theres lag when playing videogames i use a PS3, just make sure you turn on Game mode it helps!
Pros: - its made by sony
- no difference between expensive HDMI cable
Cons: maybe the lenght of the cable?
Overall Review: my first HDMI cable was from Psyclone they really ripped me off because the price on it was around $100 from bbuy... trust me this HDMI cable is as good.
Pros: see other thoughts.
Cons: the only thing i can complain about and its just my own personal preference is that its a slim model i dont like the plastic look.. im a fan of the original ps3 model
Overall Review: i had to buy one cuz my first gen 80gb console got stolen along with all the games and ps move...
Pros: this thing works like a charm almost plug and play all you need to do is put the driver disk and let it install the driver then plug the usb adapter and it starts im using win 7 so it might be different for diff OS.
its really fast im 20 feet away from my router and i got full signal almost seem like im wired!
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: really great product
Pros: after i installed it my mobo recognized all 3 rams no dead stick i dont even have to adjust the specs it runs on its rated speed 1600
Cons: only applies to Matx mobo.. it might be tall enough to block an after market CPU cooler.. im using Asus Rampage III gene Motherboard and a Cooler master V6 GT cooler if you want to use all 6 ram slot using this ram i dont think its possible without voiding the warranty because the first ram slot to the left(close to the CPU) will definitely hit an aftermarket cooler.
Pros: used this for my first build and it really looks nice and clean and good perfomance so far.
long cables good for mid and full tower case even better if your case got a cable management system.
Cons: not really a con but theres alot of cables like other reviews said if you dont have cable management in your case youll have a hard time.
Overall Review: this can only do SLi and Crossfire if your planning on building a pc with more than 2 gpu then this is not for you. wish they made a modular one.
Pros: - this mouse is awesome perfect for people who use macro
- fast mouse response even if its wireless
- it really looks great with the red leds
- comes with a rechargeable battery
Cons: not really a con but it might be too big for some people.
Pros: - alot of room for expanding
- nice cable management
- really great looking case
Pros: - really fast and user friendly
- nice overclocking tool
- really looks great
Cons: not really a con but only dual gpu after all its a MAtx
Pros: - runs cool
- quiet fan
- more room for overclocking
- doest look cheap at all
Overall Review: i overclocked it from 675 to 850 mhz, 1700 shader, and 2340 memory using MSi Afterburner. i used FFXIV benchmark got a score of 2303 at stock speed and 2840 overclocked.
Pros: this thing is a beast..
Overall Review: used this for my 1st build and im really happy that i did.
Pros: - its fast when it works
- its corsair
Cons: i bought this for my first build. im using Asus Rampage III gene mobo the first night it was fine running on 6gb ran memtest86+ twice and it passed but the 2nd day i turned off my pc after an hour turned it back on win 7 only recognized 2 gb of ram i adjusted all the timing to specs but its still 2 gb had to remove it then put it back on and now it shows 6 gb. i had to return it and replace it with something else. Thanks Newegg for the fast response.
Overall Review: lesson learned before you buy a RAM make sure its compatible with your motherboard so its less of a hassle for you in the future.
Pros: - not that big
- really nice on keeping my cpu below 30c idle and 60c at full load(not overclocked).
- easy to install.
- the price
Cons: - maybe not for overclockers
- fan is a little bit loud
Overall Review: im running this on an i7 930 at 2.9
Pros: this keyboard is great lots of room for macro and also i didnt have any problem like some other ppl that it only allows you to press only 3 keys at the same time i played L4D 2 and i didnt encounter this problem. i guess it only applies to some games.
Cons: some users might have problem with this keyboard because you cant tilt it up.
