Pros: Well built, good layout, highly configurable. Using as a business workstation; configured to be fast, silent and able to keep multiple programs open with no lag, stutter, or crashes. This board offers so many different configuration options, the BIOS is super configurable (should be fine for overclockers, the 990FX southbridge has many bells and whistles. the onboard raid controllers work great, plenty of fan headers, and the amount of peripheral connectors is more than adequate for any system you may build. CPU: FX 9570 with AIO cooler & two Noctua fans in push/pull configuration - Super fast, low temps an silent operation! Storage: two Samsun 850 Pros in Raid 0 for OS (Win10prox64) and Programs and Two WD Red 4TB in Raid 1 for data. Established raid in bios with no problems, installed AMD Raid Expert, but honestly never need to use it - just geeky fun I guess. Memory: 2X8 gig Corsair Vengance. Bios recognized the XMP @ 1866 with no additional settings necessary. The best part is, if I can install another 2X8 GB if I want! Power: Corsair AX860i - this is a great PSU, it runs cool, the fan rarely comes on, and the digital link provides all the diagnostics you will need. Video Card - AMD HD5970 still a beast and relavent for workstation uses, including transcoding and CAD. I am using it in the first pcie slot an have no issues with the placement of heat sinks as some others have mentioned. In fact, the heat sinks appear well designed and appropriately located. Upon OS installation, everything worked with no need to install driver disk. I did go to Gigabyte site and confirmed all driver versions most recent. Strangely enough, BIOS that came with the board is more recent than what is on Gigabytes site. This board's audio circuits sound great, comes with a nifty Dolby program, and on-board 7.1 output (which I use). This machine does more than I need, can be configured for gaming when I hand it down to my son, and truly is cool and quiet.

Cons: Gigabytes driver support is lack-luster, most of their utilities don't play nice with Win10x64, do not install Easy Tune unless you enjoy reading poorly worded pop-ups until you delete the program.

Overall Review: This board would be equally great for a home server, small, but busy office's file & print server, mid-level gamer's rig, or even coin miner with multi-gpu cards. It's all about flexibility.

Overall Review: I had an older machine that I was upgrading for my 8 year old son to game, stream, and use web based productivity software (Google Classroom & Office 365, etc.) Along with saving as much money as possible, I wanted to future proof about 2 years and determined the X570 platform is the best choice to make this happen. I researched a good amount of online reviews including various editorial videos, finally deciding on the Gigabyte Gaming X. After about a two week back order, I received this board last night, installed with no issues and it Posted on the 1st attempt. Pushing "Del" ad nauseam until entering the Bios, I reviewed the various settings, loaded optimized defaults, F10 enter and the C:\ took over. The OS went to work requiring one restart and I was at my desktop in less than 2 minutes. Rather than using the supplied driver Disk, I went to the Gigabyte site and downloaded Chipset, Lan, and Audio drivers - Install/Restart. The BOIS has one newer version for XT CPUs, which I don't have, so I did not revise. Caveat Emptor - Do not install any manufacturer supplied Utilities or 3rd party software until your machine is stable! Then I opened windows update, it found additional AMD drivers, installed and restarted. This time, the 3rd boot, I went back into Bios and set memory to 3200 CL16 settings (used 1usmus' dram calculator - safe setting until ready to push to high freq/low latency). CPU remains stock setting, for now. Note about fan headers - I have six fans, 2 on CPU cooler, 2 intake on case front, 1 intake on case top, 1 exhaust on case rear. Daisy chain works just fine; 3 on CPU header, 2 on SYS1 & 2 on SYS2. Future expansion can be handled by the CPU_OPT header if I ever want to create a hurricane in my case. I will keep this review updated over the next few weeks as necessary. Final Thoughts: The Gigabyte x570 Gaming X is a flexible choice for a budget PC build or upgrade.

Overall Review: I purchased this cooler before learning of the "gunk" issues experienced by other users. In a fit of paranoia, I removed the cooler from my computer, disassembled, and inspected the block/fluid. Everything was fine; no evidence of corrosion, algee, or other "gunk". I still cleaned everything, flushed radiator, and refilled with radiator fluid. The cooler went back into service and works as advertised. It is quiet, looks great, and keeps my TR4 cool under heavy loads. I would recommend this cooler to anyone who doesn't mind taking the time to periodically disassemble/reassemble the AIO.

Overall Review: Using as a small workstation. I can run multiple software, crunch numbers, render video, cloud compute, and stream content with low CPU temps and no issues. CPU manual overclocks well, but I have found setting BIOS to Auto and using Ryzen Master moving from base clock to overclock when necessary is more convenient.
