No problems, nice features!

ASUS M3A78 Pro AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M3A78 Pro AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: ASUS. Booted up on first try. Beautiful. Nice manual, was actually helpful. USB quick connects are great! The "Express Gate" feature is the best! It installs through the OS but after that you can use it outside of your OS. I am able to connect to Skpe, Internet and more without loading my OS (Windows XP). The onboard graphics are actually very nice. It is running Oblivion, COD4 and FFXI (all on mid level settings) better then my AGP 512mb VisionTek. It seems to be using about .25GB from the 3 GB DDR2 RAM I have installed. Leaving 2.75GB for the rest of the system. Not bad considering it is providing decent graphics power.

Cons: Minor: Doesn't come with mounting hardware.

Overall Review: **Could just be my system but the "PC Probe II" (hardware monitoring software) that comes on the MOBO disc will not work. :( Sucks because it looks like a nice feature!** Overall this was a smooth build, and nice budget upgrade from my old system. Was able to use my old IDE HDD with the existing OS. --------------------------------------------------------------- Using this board, Antec Neo Power 500, Kingston HyperX 2GB DDR2 & a Patriot 1GB DDR2, AMD Phenom 8450 Toliman 2.1GHz Triple-Core, an old WD IDE HDD (slooow) and the onboard graphics (for now ;) )

Most Critical Review

Died quick

BYTECC DJ-980 BLACK MP3 FM Modulator 3-in-1 Car Charger with Remote Control
BYTECC DJ-980 BLACK MP3 FM Modulator 3-in-1 Car Charger with Remote Control

Pros: Easy to use. Worked nice while it work.

Cons: Dead in 2 weeks.

Overall Review: Replaced fuse inside unit. Still dead. Waiting for RMA.

Great deal great card

BFG Tech GeForce 6200 256MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card BFGR62256OC
BFG Tech GeForce 6200 256MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card BFGR62256OC

Pros: 1) Cheap! 1.1) Not VisionTek! -.- 2) Smooth install! From UPS man to boot up 10 minutes. All programs look super bright and glitch free. 3)New Egg free shipping: less than 2 days, wow! This is now running AION (on medium settings) and FFXI (on high settings) with no problems. :)

Cons: Driver disc made my new DVD drive sound like it was going to take off. I feared for my drive lol. Quite noisy but it got the job done and the drivers installed in 3 minutes. I suspect the disc I got just had some issues.

Overall Review: This is running on an old (but decent) XP system. AMD 2.4 w/ 2GB RAM. This replaced a VisionTek (total junk) 512MB AGP that after 12 attempts are driver installs I gave up. BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) x 12 is more than I could take! This BFG Tech video card saved an aging system that I was about to give up on. To be able to run AION and other games for a $30 hardware fix is a great deal!

Nice printer!

Brother MFC series MFC-490CW Up to 33 ppm Black Print Speed 6000 x 1200 dpi Color Print Quality Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer
Brother MFC series MFC-490CW Up to 33 ppm Black Print Speed 6000 x 1200 dpi Color Print Quality Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

Pros: Decent Quality for Photos Wireless Independent Color Cartridges Not very loud Auto Sleep Auto Wake Software is much less bloatware than HP Easy Set up Color Display Screen Can print pics without computer being on. Front load paper tray (this is nice for locations where back access is limited). Brother Creative Center online. Easy to use FREE templates.

Cons: Paper tray is flimsy :o Can only be completely Wireless or completely Wired. Can not be both. Not much to complain about!

Overall Review: I upgraded from a HP All In One that had recurring software corruption problems. After my cat attacked the ink carriage it stopped working. Bad kitty! Found this Brother 490CW on sale at a retail store for a crazy price of $59.00 Absolutely love it! Good quality (except the papertray) and so far no problems

Nice and quiet

Antec Neo Power 500 500 W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Antec Neo Power 500 500 W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Quality PSU, does not feel cheap. Nice modular connectors. I ended up with extras! Not very loud.

Cons: Molex Male & Female had some issues lining up. Seemed "loose" inside their casings. Main MOBO power connector is hard wired into the PSU. Not really a big issue unless you need to replace a broken connector.

Overall Review: Never was the sharpest tool.... I have now learned to MEASURE my existing case/hardware before ordering new parts. This PSU was about 1/2 inch longer than my old generic 380W PSU. About caused me heart failure when it wouldn't fit in next to my top exahaust fan. Had to remove the fan, install the PSU then reinstall the fan. About 1 mm of clearance! No fault of the PSU just saying... measure. :p

Nice mid range RAM

HyperX 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model KHX6400D2LL/2GR
HyperX 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model KHX6400D2LL/2GR

Pros: Kingston continues to be reliable for my system. Heat spreaders are a nice addition as the newer systems produce more and more heat.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Paired this 2GB stick with a Patriot 1GB stick of the same latency. No issues or problems, works great!
