Nice Little CPU!
Pros: I have a refurb special at my store in which I take a customers national brand computer and replace the mobo, cpu and memory and then add other things if they want. I started using this cpu and I have put it in three refurbs so far using the Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H mobo and 2GB or more of G.Skill ram and my customers love it! This cpu performs great for the price!
Cons: AMD won't pay for my store advertising. AMD's next quarterly profits need to be higher so that they can take a bigger bite of the market! I wish the EGG would carry AMD mobile cpus cause I do notebook upgrades too.
Overall Review: I used to like AMD, now I LOVE AMD! Without checking, I estimate I have built and sold just over 250 AMD based machines in the last two years plus my personal gaming computer is all AMD.
After 3 Years????
Pros: Well they worked ok while they lasted. I have used these in 3 light duty machines that I built.
Cons: None of these PSUs lasted more than 3 years of light duty use. You are sitting there doing something on the computer and all of a sudden, PHTTT and then nothing. One lasted 38 months, one lasted 40 months and the last one lasted about 45 months.
Overall Review: I gave this 3 eggs because they worked good for about 3 years and they should last allot longer in a light duty situation.
Works As Advertised, Could Not Ask For More
Pros: They truly are plug and play. I just connected them and I had network. I'm getting advertised speeds. Don't forget, if your PC or Laptop has a 10/100 connection then that's all you will ever get. If so I would buy a 10/100/1000 PCIe adapter card for your PC to get the advertised speeds.
Cons: They don't have the option to purchase extra ones. I only need one more but I'm going to have to buy this same kit with 2 again instead of just one more like I need.
Overall Review: Buy it, you won't be sorry, the only limitation will be your home wiring. I recommended this to a friend that lives in a 80 year old house with the original wiring and he is satisfied.
Great Board!
Pros: Can't say enough good things about this board. It's been running 24/7 for about a month with no problems.FX 8320E cpu and I have it OC'd with 16GB 2133 ram also OC'd. The only thing missing is two RX 580 video cards which I'm working on getting to replace the R7 el cheapo card I have in it now.
Cons: Can't think of any cons right now since there haven't been any so far. Ok, so it's not a Ryzen board & cpu but it works real well.
Overall Review: If you can't afford the Ryzen stuff buy this. I'm playing all kinds of high end games and even with the el cheapo video card I'm running at near highest settings.
Works Great & Worth Every Penny
Pros: Hooked up 4 of my computers to it and it worked perfectly. There is a 9V port on the back but you don't need it, that is why it doesn't come with an adapter. If people would read the description and "what is in the box", they wouldn't be disappointed that it doesn't have an adapter. It came with everything that it was supposed to. It's a great product for the money.
Cons: Too bad it got the reviews it did so far. Sure it has bare screws on the bottom but I got some sticky feet for it at the hardware store for about 2 bucks and it now doesn't have bare screws.
Overall Review: Buy it, you won't be disappointed unless you expect it to do things it wasn't designed to do.
Great Board
Pros: This board was great right out of the box. I usually use AsRock boards but thought I would give MSI a try again. I'm sorry for those having problems with it. I have a 9590 cpu installed with 16GB GSkill Sniper 1866 ram in a Phanteks Eclipse P400 case. I'm cooling the cpu with a Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 240 cooler and the RX 480 video card is cooled with a Arctic liquid cooling rig. I'm using a Cooler Master 850W psu and there are 5 120mm fans in the case with a Corsair ram cooler too. Everything is OC'd and I have nothing but cool temps and no problems. I'm about to buy another one of these boards for another rig i'm putting together. I'm gonna wait on the Ryzen stuff until they get the bugs out and hopefully the later additions will OC better.
Cons: Can't think of any so far.
Overall Review: I wouldn't hesitate to buy this board, it's a good one. I don't know what the others have done to make it fail but there are a few here and there that come out of the factory with defects like all electronics. I've been running this board 24/7 for months now with no problems. I hope the next one is just a good!
Slow, Slow Shipping
I just wish they offered an option to pay for faster shipping. Free shipping is nice but not when it takes a really long time to get the item.
Takes Way Too Long For Shipping
I ordered this on 3/16/2017 and here it is 4/1/2017 and the tracking number just says that it was accepted for shipping in China. No other information and it's been 16 days since I ordered it with no delivery date in sight. I will never order from this company again.
Great
Would buy from them again.
