Good video card for multiple monitors

PNY NVS 510 VCNVS510DP-PB 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Graphics Card
PNY NVS 510 VCNVS510DP-PB 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Graphics Card

Pros: Card worked on first installation onto a Win 8.1/64 system with four 24" monitors. Two monitors are Samsung (same model) and the other two are Asus (also same model). The drivers installed without a hitch. Since I use the system for C# code development and audio mixing, the card is not highly taxed. I also was happy to find that the issues that I seem to often have with ATI software simply was not present with nVIDIA / PNY. Plugged it in and it worked...so nice.

Cons: Nothing so far.

Assembly at flying halt - No Heatsink!

MB ASUS|SABERTOOTH Z170 MARK 1 RTL Configurator
MB ASUS|SABERTOOTH Z170 MARK 1 RTL Configurator

Pros: I'm sure there will be some pros here since I have bought many motherboards and components from New Egg before, and because I have had generally good experiences with Asus.

Cons: The configurator leads one to believe that the selections are complete and compatible. I chose this route because I was strapped for time and needed to get a system up quickly. Well, that is not going to happen. Unfortunately, there is no hint anywhere that, unlike Intel processors shipped to me in my previous orders in the past, you will NOT get a heat sink and fan with this. So, you better count on getting one for the CPU with your order.

Overall Review: I'll be happy to update this when I finally get a system going

Not suitable for Win 8.1

USB 3.0 Interface, Plug & Play, 3.5" or 5.25" Multi I/O Front Panel with USB 3.0 3-port Hub & 6-slot
USB 3.0 Interface, Plug & Play, 3.5" or 5.25" Multi I/O Front Panel with USB 3.0 3-port Hub & 6-slot

Pros: Has a good mix of interfaces. Good cable length.

Cons: The unit often does not work for SDHC cards. Continually drops connection with system giving sporadic disconnect / connect sounds. It got so bad that I turned off the sound until I had time to address the problem. Not finding any contact information, I am at a loss as to how to fix the problem with a driver upgrade. The only alternatives I believe I have is to either junk it or dig into Win 8.1 USB options.
