Acer V213HBJbd 21.5" 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI LCD Monitor
Acer V213HBJbd 21.5" 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI LCD Monitor

Pros: No dead or stuck pixels (on all 3!). Bright enough, but not so bright you're getting a tan. When the viewing angle is right, they all reproduce colors identically (as far as I can tell by eye). Aside from the "USER" setting, it has presets that can be switched to.. ECO, - as far as I can tell, it just reduces the backlight. Standard, - just default settings. Graphics, - Seems to disable dynamic contrast and increase brightness. Movie, - I think it enables dynamic contrast, and alters brightness. These are useful; for example the "Graphics" preset is nice if you want to do some image editing, then switch back to "user" for gaming. WideMode has "Full" or "Aspect" modes. As far as I can tell, these monitors are reproducing colors more accurately than my Acer p241w. But I am no expert in this area.

Cons: -1 egg for the tilt being so restrictive in the downward direction. If you will be placing this monitor above eye level, it will not tilt down very far and your viewing angle will not be ideal.

Overall Review: I bought three of these - two to add beside my acer p241w for tri display, and one to replace my wife's old 1024x768 lcd. We are very happy with them so far. In my opinion, if you will be buying a monitor today it is not smart to even consider anything under 1080p. All-in-all these monitors were simply the best price for the specs that I was looking for at the time. They work well and I have no significant complaints.

Could be better.

SIGMA ZEN ZEN-WDP diamond pink SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
SIGMA ZEN ZEN-WDP diamond pink SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Its pink. Has a clear side. Enough space. Has holes to screw expansion cards in. Isn't an obnoxious color of pink.

Cons: The metal door is held on by 2 tiny plastic nubbs. It will break off if anything happens. Especially if you have kids. If your crafty enough, I suppose it could be fixed. The edges of the steel door can be sharp. My wife got a pretty nasty cut on it. She still actually has a light scar from it. As others have said, the triangles come off to easily.

Overall Review: The metal this is made out of isn't the best. It bends more easily than other cases I have. The door however could be used as a frikin snow plow (If it were big enough). Overall it works fine for what we need. If you just HAVE to get a pink case, this one is fine. But I strongly recommend you get one of those swiveling deburr tools and run it along the edges of the door.

It fails

Backlit 2.4G Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad&QWERTY Keyboard, Portable Wireless Keyboard with USB Receiver Remote Control for Laptop/PC/Tablets/Windows/Mac/TV/Xbox/PS3/Android TV Box
Backlit 2.4G Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad&QWERTY Keyboard, Portable Wireless Keyboard with USB Receiver Remote Control for Laptop/PC/Tablets/Windows/Mac/TV/Xbox/PS3/Android TV Box

Pros: If you don't mind shelling out for a new one every month or so, it's quite useful for controlling everything from the couch. I like the layout.

Cons: Mine failed after about a month and a half. It wont connect to it's dongle. The more I looked for information on troubleshooting the problem, the more I found that a lot of people have the same trouble.. After 1-2 months, it just quits.

Cavalry CAXM Series 1TB USB 2.0 / eSATA External Hard Drive - CAXM3701T0
Cavalry CAXM Series 1TB USB 2.0 / eSATA External Hard Drive - CAXM3701T0

Pros: Good storage space, has both usb and esata.

Cons: This drive died after 1.5 years of light use, mostly just reads. I put videos on the drive to play on my tv through usb. The 6th time in under two years that I connected it to my computer to put more videos on it... it would barely respond. Getting just a few hundred mb from it took over an hour. Once I started trying to write to it, the click of death sound began. It was never dropped or misused in any way.

Overall Review: The warranty is only one year.

PHILIPS SHS5200/28 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Neckband Headphones
PHILIPS SHS5200/28 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Neckband Headphones

Pros: Wide range frequency response. Not only do these headphones produce lower base than most, but they also go higher than other headphones in this price range. Comfortable. I can wear these all day with no discomfort. The wire is ultra flexible, and sturdy. It's also very easy to untangle if it ever does get tangled up.

Cons: Does not have a mic. If this badboy was a full headset, it would be perfect.

Overall Review: I've owned a set of these for quite a while, but lost it. I was very happy to find this on newegg. If you are looking for good headphones at an affordable price, I would recommend getting this. I use it on my phone for music while working, on my computer for music and games, and also for skype. I just use these headphones + the mic on my webcam, and calls/voicechat are crystal clear.

Ergotron 45-174-300 Neo-Flex Monitor Arm - Single Monitor Mount
Ergotron 45-174-300 Neo-Flex Monitor Arm - Single Monitor Mount

Pros: Very solid. Very adjustable. With a little bit of creativity it can be mounted just about anywhere. Easily switch to portrait, landscape, or even upside-down orientations.

Cons: The plastic clips to hold the cables are basically junk. You will end up using simple wire ties (or something else) instead. For a maximum size monitor (I have the Acer p241w) you have to really tighten this thing up. At one point I had to tighten it so much that I bent the included allen wrench. It does support the monitor, but becomes pretty hard to move it with the screws that tight. However even with all that, the "screws" or whatever you would call them never stripped or jumped threads at all.

Overall Review: I've had this thing on different desks, the side of a chair and even over my bed. Right now it is clamped to the computer desk in my room. I am able to sit any way I like, and easily rotate the screen for best viewing angles. When I will be gone for a while, I can turn the monitor around completely, making it face the wall so I can at least feel safe knowing that random objects flying around (such as kids toys) wont be smashing/scratching the screen. If I can ever justify buying a second monitor, I will definitely buy another one of these arms for it.
