Excellent

Rosewill RSV-SATA-Cage-34 - Hard Disk Drives - Black, 3 x 5.25" to 4 x 3.5" Hot-Swap - SATA III / SAS - Cage
Rosewill RSV-SATA-Cage-34 - Hard Disk Drives - Black, 3 x 5.25" to 4 x 3.5" Hot-Swap - SATA III / SAS - Cage

Pros: Looks nice, none of that silvery paint that other brands like to use Quiet, effective fan Inexpensive but not "cheap" Comes with long SATA cables with clips

Cons: LEDs don't indicate much

Overall Review: The fan just whispers and pulls enough air to cool the drives. I'm not sure if it's ball or sleeve as I couldn't find anything via the model number. I installed two SSDs, a VelociRaptor and a 1TB 3.5" HDD, all without a hitch. However, the activity LEDs don't make any sense. First, all LEDs stay on unless activity occurs, which is opposite of normal. The one for the Samsung 830 SSD never blinks, the one for the LiteOn SSD seems to go out when activity occurs *most* of the time, and the ones for the HDDs make the most sense but still don't blink every time the mobo's IO activity light flashes. I deducted an egg for the LED weirdness, as one reason I bought this was for individual drive activity lights.

Perfect PC Speakers

Pioneer SP-BS41-LR 2 CH Bookshelf Loudspeakers Pair
Pioneer SP-BS41-LR 2 CH Bookshelf Loudspeakers Pair

Pros: -Well constructed -Decent looks -Most importantly, good sound

Cons: -Didn't include rubber feet, but I supplied my own. -They're kinda large, but you do need a certain enclosure dynamic to make any particular speaker sound good.

Overall Review: These work great as my main computer speakers. I use an older Denon AVR-60 to drive them, and a Creative EMU 0202 external sound device, as well as an old powered sub under my desk. I find I need to boost the treble on the amp to push the highs through, but this could be a combination of many things unrelated to the speakers.

Good

AZZA Toledo 301 (CSAZ-301) Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
AZZA Toledo 301 (CSAZ-301) Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks nice Giant fan in side* Plenty of room inside Quality construction

Cons: Vent holes for side fan are inadequate, almost making the side fan useless. I modified the side panel where I cut out for the fan and used a subwoofer grille with much larger holes as a fan guard. The difference in air flow is night and day.

Overall Review: It's a solid case for the price. I like AZZA products, they're a tier above the quality of your average case in the price range.

Update of my 12/20/2012 Review

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Extremely stable. Not one BSOD or crash yet. Windows 7 Ultimate x64 "Lited", 32gb G-Skill memory, FX-8350 CPU at stock speed, Samsung 830 SSD, twin WD VelociRaptors, nVidia GT 440 ti. This is not a gaming rig, but a multimedia processing rig: I've thrown simultaneous VirtualBox sessions at it, HandBrake transcoded many BluRay discs, and crunched numbers for hours on end for WorldCommunityGrid and made full 1080p HD movies in MovieStudio Platinum. Not one hiccup yet...

Cons: -I still don't like the slow BIOS, but everything else more than compensates for that shortcoming. -NEC USB card works very well for external drives, the onboard USB3 is fine for thumbdrives. -The sideways SATA connectors are annoying.

Overall Review: I don't have any problems with the onboard audio like others here. I do use a EMU USB2 sound device for most audio, but the onboard is connected to an undermonitor speaker and is the default device for system sounds and whatnot. The Ethernet seems solid. I've run many terabytes through it to my NAS without issue.

Unbeatable

AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor

Pros: -I can transcode an average BluRay at full 1080p in less than 70 minutes using HandBrake -I can encode 7 MP3s simultaneously while still browsing the web -I'm delivering some serious crunching to the WorldCommunityGrid project (BOINC) -76+ GFLOPS at stock speed

Cons: -Draws some power, makes some heat. -Stock fan is lacking; see my "other thoughts"...

Overall Review: This is the absolute most gigaflops for the buck there is. Stock heatsink isn't bad, and has copper pad and heat pipes. Stock fan sounds like a jet turbine and yet still lacks in airflow. Search the web for "oversized" replacement fans (Delta AFC0712DB) and you'll be under 60c at full load for less than $10 extra.

Excellent

ARCTIC F9 PWM PST - Standard Low Noise PWM Controlled Case Fan with PST Feature, AFACO-090P0-GBA01
ARCTIC F9 PWM PST - Standard Low Noise PWM Controlled Case Fan with PST Feature, AFACO-090P0-GBA01

Pros: -Well made, silent, good looks

Cons: -None

Overall Review: I bought this to replace the fan that comes with the Rosewill RCX-Z1 sold here on NewEgg, since that HSF doesn't come with a PWM fan. Fits perfectly and silently cools a Phenom II 955 well with aforementioned heatsink.
