Girlfriend Loves It!

Diamond (1/10 ct.t.w.) Heart-Shape Pendant in 10k White-Gold
Diamond (1/10 ct.t.w.) Heart-Shape Pendant in 10k White-Gold

Pros: I got this for my girlfriend as a valentines day present and I had it shipped straight to her. She has it and absolutely loves it. She is showing it off to all her friends... and her friends are complementing me on how well I did (gotta love winning over her friends). I haven't seen it personally, but she says it's very delicate and extremely shinny in sunlight.

Cons: None that I know of...everyone loves it!

Had two of these for over 5 years always worked great

HP KP080AA#ABA 2008 120W Docking Station
HP KP080AA#ABA 2008 120W Docking Station

Pros: I have a NW8440 laptop and have owned both this model dock and its older brother. Most recently I've hooked up two 24" 1920x1200 monitors to this dock and they work perfectly. I've never had any real difficulty with this model dock.

Cons: Price

Solid

Western Digital WD Green WD20EARS 2TB 5400 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Working great in my Synology DS211j nas... no configurations to worry about with the new advanced format. I think they've also figured out the idle time bug, while I haven't personally run WIDLE3 yet on the drives the S.M.A.R.T. info says the load_cycle_count is about 800 per drive after about 3 days

Cons: A little slow, but for backups and streaming movies they work rather well.

Very solid NAS choice

Synology DS211J Diskless System DiskStation 2-bay NAS Server for Small Office and Home Use
Synology DS211J Diskless System DiskStation 2-bay NAS Server for Small Office and Home Use

Pros: Essentially a low power headless linux box for your home/small business network. I got my unpackaged and the major functionality up in one night (2x2TB HDDs take a while to parity check). I've been messing around with some of the other features too, I'm excited about the ability to use it as a svn server, not to mention the number of things I haven't even discovered yet. DynamicDNS is a must with this thing, your files are only an ftp client away :)

Cons: Not really the NAS's fault, but DLNA is still not ready for primetime in my opinion, too many restrictions and lack of support. Also, it's good to note that this NAS has limited NTFS support. To access any files on a NTFS usb drive requires at least half of the processor power. I'm using 2 USB external hard drives right now along with the server but they're NTFS so I'm going through the slow process of copying the data and reformatting to FAT32. Other than the NTFS limitations though, accessing the usb hard drives is really easy and they can even be mapped to your computer like any of the internal volumes.

Overall Review: I'm really excited about my new DS211j and I'm loving it more and more each day
