Very GOOD for the price
Pros: Very roomy, looks nice. Psu seems to handle my system very nicely.
Cons: Quality isn't the best.
Overall Review: I don't understand what this guy below me expected from a $50 case + 480w psu deal. I built a budget gaming pc for my friend on this. The psu that came with this case is handling very nicely. Specs are : AMD x2 BE 2400 @ 2.8ghz, Zalman 9700 cooler, 2 * 1G OCZ 6400 mem, WD 500g AAKS hdd, LG DVD/RW, Creative Sound Blaster, Asus 9600 GT OCed on a Foxconn 780G mobo with Asus 21.6 in LCD. Everything cost me around $550 and waiting for $35 rebates. $515 for a nice system with 21.6" (identical to 22") lcd!!
Not bad.
Pros: Looks decent. Built in bios update program is a plus. Overclocks very well, has lots of options to play with.
Cons: Newegg didn't make it clear that it was x8 x8 speed for pci-e. Even worse is that you need to have a included pci-e card inserted in the upper slot to make the bottom one run at x16. What the heck was biostar thinking? My video card(4870) is blocking the pci slots under bottom pci-e slot and i'm unable to use my wifi adapter and soundcard at the same time.. They should've at least make the upper one run at x16.. DISAPPOINTED!!
Overall Review: Except the cons I wrote, this is an awesome mobo. Overclocks well, nice features in bios. Just make sure you have a good cooling system in ur case if you're using a good video card (4870 and 260gtx or up).
Awesome!
Pros: It does very good job transferring the heat from CPU to the heat sink.
Cons: Heavy.
Overall Review: Attach any cheap fans and it will get the job done. Keeps my i5 2500K @ 4.4ghz 37~39C idle / 65~68C load.
Very good for the price
Pros: Of course, Price! Decent build quality. Easy to mount hdd's, dvd's. 3 x Fans
Cons: Could use better/quieter fans, but for the price they are up to expectation.
Overall Review: I bought this as a combo deal for $530 for a nice gaming rigs. Combo includes: I5 2500k @ 4.4ghz oc'd 4GB ripjaws ddr3 mem MSI P67A-C43 mobo Seagate Barracuda 1TB hdd Antec earthwatts 650W 80PLUS This tower PLUS what I already had Newer version of ATI 5850
best bang for the money!!!!
Pros: Very easy to OC. Just set x44 on bios and you're running 4.4ghz! Bought Loki HSF for 20 bucks and it keeps this cpu around 38C idle and never goes above 70C(linx, prime test)
Cons: HSF is kinda small and not sufficient for this baby.
Overall Review: Make sure you get an aftermarket HSF if you plan on OCing.
Nice little laptop
Pros: Powerful specs for the price. (I paid $529.99 in April 2011) Weight - It's very light. I used to own Sony SZ-750 for 2 years and the weight feels about the same to me. Build quality is much better than the Sony. Battery life is awesome. It advertises as 8 hours but not really. Still it gets you around 6+ hours depending on how you use/utilize it. I got a little less than 6 hours watching shows the whole time.
Cons: No cd/dvd driver? (I knew about this before I purchased so not really a con but something to consider)
Overall Review: Overall, it's a great laptop for the price I paid. I would definately buy this again at this price($530) if I need to.
