AMAZING!!!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 89W Processor - ADA5200CSBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 89W Processor - ADA5200CSBOX

Pros: Great Processor. In my mind, it performs better than the Intel Duo core processors for much less price. I didn't do any sort of overclocking, and my Asus m2n-sli D recognized it as 2.7 GHz!

Cons: Stock CPU cooler does the trick, but I will need a much better one when I overclock. If you are not OCing your processor, the stock fan performs just fine.

Overall Review: I am really impressed with the AMD processors. I was a solid Intel guy, but I think I am making a change. Oh, and Newegg rocks. Their service is just unbeaten!

Pros: I got it on sale. Looks pretty good. It has a well respected brand name. SATA!

Cons: LOUD!!! Seriously, if you read some other reviews saying it is loud, they are not exaggerating. You almost need ear plugs around this sucker. I thought it was going to blow up the first time I used it. Put it this way, if you were having a conversation with someone and you put a CD into your computer, you'd have to step out of the room to hear the other person. Just ridiculous!

Overall Review: If you don't care too much about the loudness lever, this thing is for you. It is cheap and works very well with a great transfer rate (3 Gb per second) and a high writing speed with DL support. I just like my other Drives better because they do the same with without needing ear plugs...

Sweetness

APEVIA CF4SL-URED 80mm Red LED Case Fan
APEVIA CF4SL-URED 80mm Red LED Case Fan

Pros: Great looks. Pushes lots of air in a quiet manner

Cons: Not much. maybe if it had a 3 pin connector for the Mother Board?

Overall Review: I used it to ghetto rig my PC case to make it SLI compatible. I needed a fan right by my video cards to push out more of the heat, so I just drilled a 3 inch circle in my case and four screw holes and badda-bing, I've done it. The only thing that would be better is a fan quard.. :(

meh

COOLMAX CD-310-U2 Aluminum 3.5" IDE USB 2.0 External Enclosure
COOLMAX CD-310-U2 Aluminum 3.5" IDE USB 2.0 External Enclosure

Pros: Good price. rather small

Cons: Doesn't have a very tight fit. Hard drive tends to slop around a little. This isn't a problem if you never move your drive, though. Also, There is no fan in the case, so the drive can get a little warm if kept on and working for long periods of time.

Overall Review: Meh, I just needed a case to start transferring from my old IDE's to my sata drives. If you aren't expecting too much and just need one, this case does rather well.

Great speakers

Logitech X-230 32 Watts 2.1 Black Speakers
Logitech X-230 32 Watts 2.1 Black Speakers

Pros: Very clear, crisp sound. All across the spectrum, these speakers perform well. In a price/performance ratio, these speakers are close to the top. If you want a big sound and a small price, these might be your set.

Cons: Does not have an external volume control like some speaker sets now 'days. If you place your speakers in a place not reachable from your desk chair, you'll have to get up every time you want to change the volume of the speakers. Very minor thought, though. And this is only a problem if you are lazy, like me. :)

Overall Review: Some people claim this speaker set has WAY TOO MUCH BASS. I don't really think it is a problem. Sub woofer has a balanced sound with satellites. Some complained they weren't able to shut the sub off. If they didn't want a sub, why did they buy a 2.1 system??? Some of the bad reviews are from bad purchasing, not bad products.

Works great

PNY XLR8 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model D22GX64XL-4
PNY XLR8 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model D22GX64XL-4

Pros: Works great in my new system. No problems as of yet. I bought it at a fairly cheap price without having to wonder if I would receive a rebate or not. I've been burned (wrongly) by a few rebates lately, so it was nice to get this product at a reasonably low price.

Cons: None as of yet...

Overall Review: Works with the following specs: ASUS M2N-SLI D, AMD X2 5600+, and Biostar 7600 GT.
