Pros: Very simple setup. Lots of features. Always works. Just what I needed. Best of all, other than updates it needs virtually no maintenance. Love the feature of having it plugged into a UPS and allows you to adjust it to your needs.

Cons: Would be nice if Synology added a little more Help info in the DSM software. BUT, the DSM software even 5.0+ is excellant and easy to use.

Overall Review: I loaded (3) ST4000VN000 drives in and fired it up. Quickly went through the setup and then let it run parity checks. Parity checks took nearly 2 full days. Two weeks later I added a fourth drive of the same model and enlarged my Volume. I used SHR I. Excellant little machine.
