Pros: -Price point
-NOT compatible with AMD freesync
Overall Review: Checked all over the internet and could not find a curved monitor over 30" cheaper from a reputable brand. the resolution is 1920x1080 but the price reflects it. works great for my gaming and work. Great bang for the buck.
Pros: Very clear screen, very easy to assemble and responsive when turned on and it resizes automatically covering all borders.
Cons: Speaker cable for the pc to the monitor not included.
Overall Review: I ordered this for a client and have to say after installing the monitor my client was extremely happy with the clarity and functionality it provided. Highly recommend it and the price was very affordable.
Overall Review: No I wouldnt recommend this or buy again
Pros: 1 - Huge upgrade from 24" screen and even double 24" screens from the aspect of reading a document. It is tall so you see most of it. JustJosh on YouTube mentions a 16x10 ratio for seeing the entire document and this is that.
2 - I can see the screen at 100% without my readers (1.25) pretty well.
3 - Eye saver mode is very cool and much better on the eyes, especially the evening. Not really needed with Mac's mode for adjusting screen, though. But great with Linux and Windows 10 - manually.
4 - Speakers inside the monitor! They work pretty well.
5 - Heard some reviewers mentioned you can't go from curved to flat panel, but I use this at home and dual 24" flat panels at work with no issue.
6 - No eye strain that I've noticed. I did have that with 32" TV that I tried to use one day.
7 - Price was great at 2020 Black Friday
8 - Kudos to Newegg for really quick and convenient delivery. Should have seen how easy it is to return earlier so I can be venturesome. I'll have to shop here more in the future vs the other guy.
9 - HDMI, Display Port and D-Sub ports! All work!
10 - It replaces a Samsung TV used as a monitor (for years) and the brand is reliable so far.
11- Actually like there is no webcam and microphone built in.
12 - There is a way to pitch the screen higher and lower so you can view while standing or sitting, but it's by moving it on the stand has been solid for 3 months.
13 - Solid stand.
Cons: 1- I have tried this screen with Linux, Windows 10 and now the new Mac mini with the same result that doing Gmail easily shows the 'grainy' text. This is my BIGGEST beef. If I'd have acted on time, I'd have returned it. This is huge for me.
2 - Dual 24" screens do look crisper but they are more wide than tall.
3 - Cover will not fit with all 3 connections.
4 - It seems to automatically switch between connections but I haven't seen that yet (3 months in)
5 - No VESA mount
6 - No up and down movement for height and pitching it for top of screen to match my eyes with the highest chair setting does an oddish view. I'd prefer it move up and down.
7 - No remote.
8 - Light at bottom irritating but manageable with electrical tape.
9 - No USB for chaining.
Overall Review: You see more positives than negatives, but the biggest for me is reading Gmail seems really grainy. There may be tweaks to get there I have not found but otherwise am pleased I can often use without readers, have speakers and can adjust on stand's pivot.
Cons: Not arm mountable.
Overall Review: -Jury is out, but I am pretty annoyed that a leading brand would make monitors that aren't usable with common arm mounts. Considering returning.
Pros: Monitor looked great with a nice picture. Strong curve provided an immersed feeling when gaming.
Cons: The monitor is a bit heavy but is not an issue unless you have a weak stand. The stand is poorly designed with a metal base inserted and "locked" into a plastic riser that connects to the monitor. It only took 2 months for the metal to pull through the plastic and fail. The monitor fell forward and cracked the screen on my keyboard. I saw how the stand fell and contacted Samsung to chat. Of course, I did not buy the additional warranties.
Samsung customer service was very friendly and happy to check on things for me; however, they were quite adamant that their 1-year warranty did not cover any sort of physical damage. I specifically asked why their part failing and causing the physical damage was not covered, and they basically replied that physical damage is physical damage and is not covered. They did offer an in-home, socially distanced repair service, but it was for 70% of original cost and did not guarantee future success. I ended up going with a Sceptre monitor who use a full metal stand.
Overall Review: Nice monitor, but you should plan to figure out how to wall mount it, use a different stand, or buy comprehensive coverage. It's possible my stand failure was a fluke, but don't risk it.
Pros: Large monitor is very nice for my aging eyes -wish I had upgraded to a larger screen years ago!
Overall Review: Highly recommend
Overall Review: Big, bright, and a good value.
