Pros: High-quality, fast processor, ultra-quiet, runs fairly cool. It is nicely styled, I like the chocolate color. It's an Asus, so it should be pretty reliable. The warranty is excellent. Graphics are decent. The facial recognition feature is a nice touch. The battery is external! Overall, a good value.
Cons: Short battery life, keyboard is overly flexible, lots of bloatware. The trackpad can be somewhat irritating to use after a while.
Overall Review: I would actually rate this 4.5 stars, but that option isn't available. The short battery life is mostly my fault (I like the high performance setting), so I'm not docking for that. I hate having to deal with bloatware, and I wish manufacturers would get that into their thick skulls. The keyboard flexibility is annoying, and makes the laptop seem shoddier than it really is. Frankly, I didn't get annoyed with the trackpad until after 7 hours of use, so it shouldn't be too big an issue for most. In sum, I would happily recommend this laptop to anyone, with the caveat that the perfect laptop doesn't exist (unless you shell out a couple thousand dollars).
