NO!  I bought this think I could use it on my TV.  That is not possible.  This connects via a USB cable then creates an ICC profile to color correct a monitor.  In other words, it doesn't give advice on what video controls to change in order to calibrate a TV display

Having said that, I hear that it is POSSIBLE to calibrate a TV using the Spyder 5.. However, you have to get third party software that will use the Spyder 5 as a senose.  The Spyder software that comes with the device is only for calibration of computer displays.
