Pros: Looks very nice and clean and nice build quality.
It has the best specs for it's price
Cons: The SSD makes sound. Yes sound. Got it RMA and they replaced the SSD but it still makes high pitch screeching sounds on boot and on heavy loads.
The hinges are most likely going to break as mine have already started to squeek aftet receiving back from repair
Overall Review: Asus support is terrible they claimed the sounds are normal and it's just air passing through small holes on the motherboard...
Their repair service is terrible as they forgot to insert a scew.
You would expect for 2000$ that they would take extra care of your device but sadly that isn't the case.
I would just spent the extra hundred dollars for an XPS.
Manufacturer Response:
Dear Li,
We appreciate you sharing your review with us. I apologize if you are inconvenienced in any way by the sound, however I am happy to hear that our Service team was able to determine that everything is fine. We do value your support and would love to get you another RMA so that we can ensure that the squeaking sound is addressed, as well as a correct reassembly, I am sorry for the oversight on our end. Please feel free to contact us at customerloyalty@asus.com with this link as reference so we can discuss this further or visit the ASUS live chat support 24/7.
Thank you for choosing ASUS!
Best Regards,
Michael.
