Question 1

Hi, I'm planning a new build and this will be my first using liquid cooling. 
Can somebody tell me how to decide if I need the Captain 120, 240 or the 360????

Honestly, I think that perhaps the best thing you can get, is..... something else. While the looks of the deepcool is indeed very unique and awesome, the longevity of the pump is something that needs improvement. Mine died at 6 months and the same has happened to many others too, sometimes at 4 months or less. The fans are the only items of high quality and even the radiator is aluminum which is a lesser quality of metal than copper for radiators. The deepcool also comes from china which is another thing to think of because if something does go wrong, you will be faced with a long down time if you can even get an RMA. I suggest looking to a Swiftech H140-x or an H220-X like mine. With this, you will get a superior water block, a better pump, copper radiator, AND the option of going FULL CUSTOM loop if u choose. As icing on the cake,The company is also located IN the USA if something goes wrong......good luck, have fun.

Question 2

Should I use the stock thermal paste? Is it sufficient or do I need to buy some new thermal paste? If I need to, what should I buy?

I would just go ahead and use the stock thermal paste. Deep Cool did a good job putting everything together and it should work great. If you find that your temps are bad, then try some Noctua thermal paste. Noctua's paste is easy to work with. I did a lot of research on thermal paste for my build. Deep Cool does lots of testing and they already put a paste on there that has been tested to perform well. Congrats on your build and best of luck.

Question 3

Is this system available in other colors than red?

They're currently developing a black and white version (I actually asked deepcool this same question) they say it will be for sale in 6-8 weeks and will forward my request for a blue version to their PM (not sure what that is). Although I would suggest that you send an inquiry to them if you are looking for any other color other than red or white.

Seems like they may actually listen to customers and might be willing to expand their inventory to meet the needs or wants of future customers.

does it  come with enough long screws to do push pull ?

CAROL; YES, IT COMES WITH ENOUGH SCREWS TO PUSH OR PULL, BECAUSE THE FANS CAN BE INSTALLED EITHER WAY YOU CHOOSE. 
This capt 360 moves more air than any other 3 fan system. And 3 fans moves almost twice as much as 2 fans, so when i built a $7,000 professional grade 3d/cad computer that had the hottest, newest intel chips, i needed massive air movement, and i was 9/10 pleased, and it runs quiet, too....with rubber tips and bearings. con is it's huge size......you really need an E-ATX CASE (largest case in the industry), and i don't think it may fit in just an ATX Case, so do your homework. But came with crazy amount of extra brackets and length screws, etc. even with MY E-ATX Case, I had to empty the topmost 5.25 BAY, (while placing capt 360 on top position, ie leaving the plastic strip intact, and only using my other two lower 5.25 BAYS, but i needed that monstrous air so it pleased me. last kinda con, was altho i begged for it to be pre-installed, and it was, i quickly realized it only came in....levo or dextro, fortunately for me that fit my build, but if you pull it out, and need to go from levo to dextro.....as tho to say, that means you gotta twist those tubes at the base of the cpu housing unit, and i would be nervous to get a bubble in the system, just to twist those tubes.......but it didn't. and i loved that it was all set up ready to go, fluid installed, etc....

Any idea if they make a blue setup?

Does it come with enough long screws to do a push/pull setup (with 3 fans above the radiator and 3 below)?

yes it does thats a great thought but trust me you dont need the excess noise from 3 more fans this keeps my 9590 at 5.0ghz ocd at 30 idle and 49c at full load after 3-4 hours

are these fans also available separate? I was thinking of a push pull config

no you cant get the red fans.... you can get the same fans but in back; search: "DEEPCOOL GF 120 FDB"

however; DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT PLEASEEE!!!! if you need a 360 mm rad; get a "Thermaltake Water 3.0"

but if you want the BEST water cooler get a "NZXT kraken X61"

Question 8

Is it compatible with any brackets or other mounting solutions for using it to water cool a GPU? Thinking of a 290 or a 290X. Maybe a 970.

I do not believe it will work. The lines a really tuff to bend and they do not come apart so it would be impossible to put on a different cooling block. If you wanted to create your own mounts, maybe you could make something work. I wouldn't go through the headaches when you can buy the parts to make your own cooler.

Question 9

how long are the tubes from the radiator to the heatsink itself? reason i ask is i have a Huge Azza case and my biggest c0oncerne is making sure the tubes are long enough for the radiator to reach the mounting area on the top of the case

I'm not sure how long but I have a pretty huge case, mounted the radiator on top and had half extra length. The connection between the tube and heatsink can be rotated so you have no problem situating it properly.

Question 10

wondering if anyone is cooling a Fx 8350 OC because i am wanting to overclock but i dont think a Custom water loop price is worth getting for a fx 8350 as they are expensive?if so how is you Temps and quality 
or should i skimp out on some custom loop .

This is a great AIO loop. i'm on a 4790k tho. Even still it has brought down my temps by 10 degrees from the stock cooler. Under load anywhere from 20 to 15 degrees. it's cheaper then a custom loop an works great. Also if looks could kill. lol. It is made at a very high quality. that's just my thoughts. Good Luck.
