Question 1

I am looking for a high volume low noise fan to use to cool the condenser on an RV refrigerator.  The current fan run off the 12v system.  Would this work for that purpose and would it simply be wired to the existing wires?  How would the variable speed be affected?  A thermo sensor triggers the fan on at 130F and off at 110F.

Definitely a low noise unit.  You will have to play with positioning and mounting.   I don't have variable speed, speed varies with voltage.  You will also have do some wiring since it will not be plug and play.  I use mine to circulate heat in the winter.  I should work for you.

What are the contents included in the box? does it have a 4-pin to molex converter?

The box includes the fan (duh), 4 silicone plugs to use in place of mounting screws for quieter operation, a molex to 4-pin converter, and a 'mainboard adapter' in case you happen to have a molex like connector on your motherboard. Note that you will lose the PWM (variable speed) function with use of the converter.

Question 3

product description states this is a 140mm fan, but what are the mounting dimensions? some 140mm fans have 120mm mounting holes. Is this fan like that? or will it only fit 140mm mounts?

This fan fits 120 mounting holes but u cant mount 2 next to each otherwhen there 120mm holes next to each other. I have one of these mounted next to a 120mm courgar. Replaced one 120 cougar with this one same mounting holes. Hope this helps.
