with 2 140mm fans how much  faster does it empty the battery charge when not pluged in I know there is no specific number but does it die in half the usual time or more?

No, it doesn't. It draws a bit of power, but not very much. I doubt you'll notice much difference. Compared to your screen or other key functions of your computer, fans draw very little, especially considering there's already a fan or two inside your laptop that probably uses the same amount of power as these.

I don't see a size on this... What's its physical size?

15 inches wide, 10-1/4 inches front to back, 1 inch thick (not uclucluding the adjustable feet.

Exactly how large is the unit?  I need something at least 380mm long.

I bought one a good while ago. It is a decent size. . . not too sure on how long exactly but the cooling pad supports 17" laptops and 17 inches is about 432mm. So yeah.
