I need to buy a computer today and have questions on this AIO.  What kind of ports..USB (2.0 or 3.0) and how many?   Does it have HDMI Output? What kind of media does the Media Card reader have?  What kind of software is on it?

First of all let me tell you i absolutely love this machine. i say that because i'm not sure i can answer your questions knowledgeably. There are six usb ports, I suspect they are all 2, but am not sure. It does have an HDMI port. I have no clue about the media card. it had enough, but not the glut of software that i've gotten on other computers. Win 8 upgrades free to 8.1. I'm not sure how to say more about software without going through a long list most of which i've found useful.

I is good for gaming?

Web-page (flash) based games run fine. Windows 8 (8.1) metro-ui games run fine. I did not test any more extensive games, but considering the graphics solution is integrated hardware running off the CPU and PC memory I would not recommend intensive gaming on this machine.
