does this come with backup disks to restore the computer should it break down?

It does not come with any disks.

However, since it was a Dell, and I have to check to make sure, It might have a factory restore partition on the HDD so that if it gets screwed up, you can put it back into the condition you received it.

Again I have to check that. I bought the computer for my mother and I'll be at her house on Sunday.

My biggest gripe was that it advertised a DVD +-RW burner and what came was only a player.  I still think it's a decent deal as long as keeps working.  Considering Win7-64Pro sells on Newegg for $140, you're getting this hardware for $50.

how do you repartition the drive? The dive is partition as C: 15G D: 15G. Disk management does not allow extend volume.

What i did to get full use of the drive was:

* Removed the page file from the second partition
* deleted the second partition
* extended the first partition (Which is now possible once the second partition is deleted)

Of course there are several reboots needed in the process.

Can you send Specs for the connection on the back of unit? Such as..  DVI, HDMI, VGA, ....  and what video card is installed, etc.??

Only has VGA and video in on the motherboard. There is not a stand alone video card installed.

does the window 7 os cd come with the computer?

It does not come with Windows 7 disk.  There is a sticker with valid Windows 7 Pro license key on the top.

How does the 750 GB HDD come partitioned ?  Only 15 GB on both the C: and D: drives each - which hold the system programs and data.  With the rest on a virtual G: drive path?  How can you have it repartitioned?

If you right click on virtual g you should be able to unallocated it. Then right click d and expand the unallocated drive into it. Reboot and do this again with C making it all one drive

It does have on board graphics that are good! I went ahead & purchased a PCI graphics card while they are still available so I may also have dual monitors, if wanted! NVIDIA GeForce 2GB Low Profile Half Height PCI Express x16 Video Graphics Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA30R19Z9890 I may also use this system for media to a 3D TV! These are good systems that we also used at my work! It is a refurbished XP Pro unit that comes with fresh Win 7 Pro install & good key! It is working great for me as a backup unit to my $2k build gamer PC! Great small business & family(kid) PC! Do consider getting this PCI graphics card while still available! Enjoy!

The VGA is the onboard Intel card. There is no separate video card.

Does the CPU have support virtualization technology?

I believe so and saw something about it on this unit when doing all the initial updates, both Dell BIOS, etc. and windows, but go to Dell site to confirm! I purchased this unit for personal use, but know it is a unit for corporate & IT use that should support this!  It has been a great working system so far.  Install PCI graphics card if you want dual monitor support now or down the road!
