Does this PC support two monitors?

It will support two monitors. The second monitor will need a VGA to Display Port Adaptor. Or, HDMI to Display Port, or DVI-I to Display Port Adaptor.

In other words, yes it will, but the second input is a Display Port. So, what ever type of second monitor cord you have will need to be adapted to Display Port.

I bought three of these machines and they are all using dual monitor displays. They work very well. These machines make great workstations. They are just little work horses.

Does the mainboard in this unit have a slot for a graphics card? Also, does it have additional slots to expand the memory? How many bays does it have for hard drives?

2 DDR3 sockets, some ship with both filled. 1.8Volts, runs 1,333MHz on this motherboard.

there is a vga port and a display port so you can use two monitors

It has a 1Gbit adapter built into the motherboard.

my son who is computer savvy -- I'm not -- ordered this for me.  Just called him at work and he said he's pretty sure that it does.
