Pros: Works straight out of the box. Auto adjust is set on the big side so you may want to fix that. I'm not a gamer so can't tell you much on its gaming performance.
Office use? It's great also great for engineering work and for coding. Clear and easy to see highlighted texts with SciTE editor. Easy on the eye.
Couldn't beat the price for its size and really couldn't pass it up. So I bought two. Another (old) monitor is being mothballed for an emergency backup and the second monitor will take its place. Just way too good of a deal to pass it up.
Cons: just the minor tweak needed for the auto adjust.
Overall Review: It's a monitor! so not much to be said.
good contrast? yes
brightness? more than enough even in bright office.
sharpness of image? very good and makes it easy to read lines of code.
I swear I thought it was my eye balls going bad with the old monitor. And it was only 3 maybe 4 years old. Text was hard to read on the old monitor but this one? Hey I think I got a new pair of glasses because it was really easy to read highlighted texts.
Pros: Got it on sale for $75, an amazing price even for a monitor, hasn't failed me yer.
Overall Review: Should've saw it coming but it didn't come with a dvi cable.
Pros: Well packaged, plus arrived VERY quickly! It took just over 48 hours for it to show up on my doorstep.
Set it up and turned it on, was immediately pleased. The picture is bright, the color contrast is very good and colors are vibrant. Read about calibration sites, so checked one out... turns out the contrast was 10 points too high (both brightness and contrast are set to 75 from the factory).
Video playback looks great with GeForce 8800 GTX/GeForce GTX 275 cards.
Cons: Using low end NVidia graphics cards, can notice tears or rips horizontally. The GeForce GT 210 wasn't good enough even for straight video playback. Had to resort to GeForce GT 520. Not as bad but still noticeable. Guessing it will be much better with the GeForce 9800 GT.
Overall Review: 5 milliseconds (ms) is about the industry standard, even on the smaller 19-20" class monitors. Faster touted speeds may be for grey-to-grey (GTG) instead of true black to white or back.
Going from full screen RGB, just the tiniest bit of lag using a Radeon HD 7790 card.
There are no regrets about this monitor other than the fact I should have bought a 2nd one when it was more than half off the regular price. Got it day before Thanksgiving, ordered it two days and two hours before it arrived.
It has the VESA mounts of 100x100, making it all the more reason another one should have been purchased.
Played CounterStrike: Source and found the imagery very good. My mouse speed is very high, so extreme change of cursor location makes you wish it was a 120/144Hz refresh, but you'll never find that in this price bracket.
There are no regrets about this monitor other than the fact I should have bought a 2nd one when it was more than half off the regular price. Got it day before Thanksgiving, ordered it two days and two hours before it arrived. Was so glad it had went on sale a second time for a little less.
Best monitor purchase I'd made in years.
Pros: - Nice size for the price while on sale ($99.00 US-$15 from google wallet rebate) for $85.00.
- Easy to navigate UI
- Solid feeling stand
- Despite being a TN panel I had no complaints about the color.
Cons: - Poor viewing angles due to TN panel combined with large screen size, but acceptable for desk use.
- Lack of inputs available (HDMI, Display) at the original price point is surprising.
- Panel protecting the back of the display is fairly malleable plastic, not sure if this will be a problem in the future.
Overall Review: I really enjoy having a monitor this size as my audio work requires lots of space. Simple visual design and matte black bevel were exactly what i was looking for.
Pros: Simple, looks attractive, good resolution, good brightness, good controls
Cons: Stand doesn't support vertical orientation
Overall Review: It's a good deal
Pros: Great picture and lots of great settings in the menu. Looks nice and has responsive buttons. Would purchase again.
Overall Review: The default brightness is too much for me, I get eye strain easily.
Pros: I has two monitors connected for my Windows 8.1 desktop and they are working fine so far. Setup was simple and easy. Looks great and haven't seen any major issues so far.
Cons: There is no height adjustment, and I did see that before ordering, but if these monitors had that, it would have been handy.
The monitors connected to DVI is automatically turning itself off after inactivity and I had to manually turn that on again. There might have been a setting somewhere that I might have to tweak.
Pros: Pros so far is amazing screen, no issue out of the box... Auto focus worked like a charm..
It's a dell! Can't go
Cons: None really.
