yes, but i have never used it.  it is located on the top of the screen in the middle.  It has a sliding cover to cover the lens.

I don't remember the brand. I opened it up to consider increasing the size, as ours came with a 260gb drive. It is an NVNMe drive, either Samsung or another brand. Sorry I can't be more specific. Don't plan on opening it again until I am ready to increase the size. Nice machine, though.

Yes, there's an additional SSD slot to expand your storage. I bumped mine up to 4tb.

This is a complicated laptop. you may want to try an easier laptop to handle for a 7-year-old like a dell or hp. this has no hard wire internet; my mouse configs were backwards, and the touchpad takes getting used too. It's a good price and lighted keyboard but I think for a seven-year-old not the best one to get. Good luck.
