No it does not!  There is an empty PCI slot if you want to buy a wifi card and install yourself or buy a USB wifi and not even have to open the case

It's a good computer yes you can run 64 bit OS, I got this for a specific need because I had a fleet of them, if you are looking to buy a new computer I would buy the current gen the Optiplex 3020 line, no sense getting a 7 year old computer unless you have a specific need.

How well does this work as far as gaming?(Such as League of Legends, DC Universe Online, Planet Side 2, etc?)

No where fast enough for gaming.  Just usable for general internet work.

Not word perfect. But, if I remember correctly, it had Open Office on it. If not, Open Office is a free download anyways.

Looking at this Computer I need it to have VGA and HDMI cable connections.
We will be connecting this to a T.V. Monitor in a retail store.
Can you please tell me if this item will fit this requirement?

There is no HDMI connector as delivered, so you will need a video card to obtain that functionality. By the way, the VGA will only drive 1024x768 video at 60Hz.

Which is it a tower or a desktop? The description says Desktop Tower Desktop and the picture is of a desktop turned up on its side! So which is it?

It is definitely a desktop as pictured.  It is not a tower.   It has feet on one end and on the bottom so I guess you could say you could us it either way and may why it has the weird desciption

I did expect a tower but I bought for my kids so I will set it up and see how it works.  I just received it today.

Are these computers actually towers or desk tops? The picture is of a desktop standing on its side, The description says desktop tower. I need the tower for the second HDD bay. I do not want the desktop as it supports only one HDD.

It is not truly a tower at all, unless it's something like a "micro-tower". It works well lying flat on a table, and has a very small footprint. You should also understand that you will need a Dell disk carrier for up to a 5.25" drive, and you will have to take care to get the carrier for this model. I didn't want to pay the price, so I installed a 2.5" 320GB drive by means of double-sided tape to the top of the drive that came installed.

Yes, but buyer beware, this is not a current model that's been
factory refurbished. 
Mine shows an original ship date of May 2008.
It shows reloaded with a version of Windows 7 that is not
what it originally had, by Joy systems, 
It is as spec'ed here, as best as I can tell
and I am sure they checked it over well, but it is still 
the original hardware throughout, 
If I had it to do over, I would have been better off placing 
this amount toward a new, low end model.
No offense but it doesn't sound like you know what you are buying with that type of question, so I am really glad you asked.

I have not tried yet but I dont think its going to support modern games.
