I am wondering what the form factor of this PC is.  Is it a Mini Tower, Desktop, Small Form Factor or Ultra Small Form Factor?

I'm not 100% sure what form factor means but from looking at the pictures online of different form factors, my guess is that it's a Mini Tower. It's 7 in wide in the front, the CD  tray is horizontal, it's 16 in tall and 16 in deep. (These are not exact measurements.) Hope this helps.

The 760 came with windows 7 Professional 64 ed. installed.  A system CD came with the shipment.

The Dell service manual for the Optiplex 760 mini tower supports 2 SATA hard drives.  I am looking for confirmation that information is true for this item?

I only hope that one day someone will answer a question I have.  I opened my box and it has four SATA connections on the motherboard.  Two in the upper left (with the memory slots on the left side to orient you) and two more just to the upper right of the memory slots.  They are labeled SATA 00 - SATA 03 for a total of four possible connections.  The power supply also has four power supply connections available in addition to the two already used for the CD/DVD and Hard Drive.

Hope you box is the same.

Why wont my cdrom see a blank cd/dvd? It will play music cd's and dvd's but I cant burn anything. I am not seeing a record tab in the properties.

I am not having an issues with my burner. I used it the first day I got it & it works fine. Try going to your Windows Media player & try that route. Hope this helps. Suzy

Although the present 4GB is ample for my purposes, it appears the maximum ram memory is 8GB, added in pairs.

Can I, on this model, put a different graphics card on it and disable the integrated one? What I really need the computer to do is play Minecraft, and my budget is pretty tight, so I really can't afford one of the awesome gaming systems. So I guess my real question is, will this model be acceptable to my kids for playing Minecraft?

Don: This 760 has an Intel (R) GMA Driver which in my understanding is one of a series of integrated graphics processors. Recommend doing a search on this type of driver to see if it meets desired requirements.
