Yes, it can be.  I bought 2 of them so I can rotate ten and view them side by side , both in portrait mode, and extend my display so I got bigger screen

Is this an adjustable height monitor?

The height is adjustable by a few inches.  It also swivels so you can use the monitor as shown or swivel it so it is portrait rather than the landscape as shown.

I have since purchased a second one for use by another person in my office.  We are both pleased with the monitor.

Does it have an HDMI Port?

No. Generally, only monitors with built-in speaker will include an HDMI port (since it includes audio as well as video).

The monitors I bought are matte.  Not sure if I have seen a glossy screen before.

No it does not have builtin sound. It has a back panel with USB ports that can be used by USB speakers. If you need to add sound you can get the Dell AC511 soundbar which is sufficient volume and quality for an office. If this is for personal or home use, then you might want to get a really nice speaker set for just about the same price.

No, I bought a dell soundbar that attaches to the bottom and has electronics that connect right into the monitor.

Do you have anything that will allow me to use this monitor in a vertical position ?

I checked mine and out of the box the mount can't attach to it in a vertical position. It's not the mount. The monitor doesn't have the required slots. However, it is a square mount and if you are handy you could probably take a dremel and drill two slots for it to fit into vertically. If you're not into hacking then this probably isn't a good choice for you.

No, it does not have speakers but when I was looking to buy monitors, everyone complained that the monitors with speakers did not sound good. This is why I decided to go with this monitor and I have not regretted it one bit.  Great monitor!

Question 9

Where can you find the audio jack on this monitor? I recently bought it and cannot find the place for the audio jack and my sound does not work

There is no 3.5mm audio jack. The soundbar that's compatible is the AC511 that connects to one of the usb ports on the monitor.

Question 10

How much is the height adjustable? What is the minimum to max height adjustment. I need a monitir that can be lowered quite a bit. So I like to know at its lowest height what is the height of the monitor.

The Min to Max height is 2" to 7" measured from the bottom of the monitor to the surface it is on.
