Yes. There is a 3.5 mm jack labeled "AUDIO OUT" next to the HDMI input. Obviously this will only work if the HDMI input is used since the VGA connector does not carry audio.

14 and 7/8 inches to 15 inches depending on the slant of the screen.

Most 14" monitors I am familiar with are 3:4 aspect ratio and use a VGA connector. There is a VGA input D-type connector on the S2240L monitor. However your video card may not be able to take advantage of the wider screen and/or higher resolution. My advice is to get someone experienced to evaluate your system and advise you.

I have a Dell S2240T that I am very happy with.  It is connected to an NVIDIA GE Force GT 625 card with a single HDMI connector.  I would like to pair it with a compatible Dell 21.5" non-touch screen monitor for a double-monitor set up. My preference is for HDMI connections for both monitors. Can I do that with the present NVIDIA card?

It looks like that card only has DVI and HDMI out. Similar situation to what I have. You can buy a DVI to HDMI cable to hook up this monitor to that card. That way one monitor is connected through the card's HDMI port and the other through the DVI port, even if this monitor doesn't support DVI.

Unfortunately, you can not. There are no VESA mounting holes on the back of this monitor.
