The overview says this is the U2713HM, which is a consumer monitor with 16.7M colors and response time of 6ms.

The title and specs say this is the U2713H model, which is  a professional model with 1.07Bi colors and response time of 8ms

Which is correct?

This is the professional model.  I've been using it for 5 months for part-time professional photography.  It's a great monitor but if you aren't doing image work it's probably overkill.  I needed it so my prints come out exactly as they look on the screen.

Question 2

Since it has multiple DisplayPorts, does it support daisy-chaining?

Yes.  This monitor has a full-sized displayport input and a full-sized minidisplayport input AND a full-sized displayport out, with full multistream support.  You just need to enable it via the onscreen menu.

Question 3

Anyone have issues with excessive chromatic aberration when viewing this monitor through glasses? Anything that is viewed more then a few degrees off center from my glasses lens has a red/green edge, especially text. Its extremely annoying and my previous 2713HM (notice the HM not H)did not do this or any other monitor i have had. Is this from the GB-LED backlight or is my 2713H messed up?  It looks fine with out glasses.

While I can't confirm that there is not some peculiar interaction with your individual glasses, I have used the the U2713H extensively with a couple of different pairs of prescription glasses and have never experienced any sort of chromatic shift.  It displays well and accurately from fairly wide viewing angles in fact.  I strongly suspect that you have a defective display and should contact Dell support.

Question 4

Can you connect this monitor to a 2013 iMac via Thunderbolt to the mini display connection on the monitor for full resolution?

Yes, I have two Mini DisplayPort cables that I use to connect 2 of these to my 2012 rMBP and 2012 iMac. The 2013 iMac is no different.

Question 5

The Dell page mentions VESA but I don't see the spec for it here.  Can I assume it's 100x100 like most monitors this size?  The photo doesn't make it clear if the mount has to be able to sit inside the plate or if you swap out the stand for a flush plate.

Sorry, I purchased this monitor for my father-in-law because he wanted a true color monitor. Consequently I cannot take a look or take measurements. The monitor's display is awesome.

I had heard that Dell doesn't honor monitor claims unless there is a Tag number or Service number. Do these monitors have Dell's full warranty and Express Exchange?

I am a photographer and have chosen this monitor.  Can anyone recommend a video card that pairs well with it?

GPU power is more related to the applications you use, not the monitor. Any GPU that supports 1440p will probably work fine for applications that aren't super intensive (for example, gaming). If you're doing minimal photo touch-ups, you might even get away with an integrated graphics processor (I'd recommend an i5 or an i7 if you go that route).

For a more concrete example, I use an NVIDIA GTX 770 on my computer for gaming. The 700 series were released last year (900s this year, 600s the year before the 700s, etc -- don't know why they skipped the 800s). So the first number gives you an idea of when the GPU was released. The second number tells you how the GPU ranks among those released in the same year - x50 and x60s are more budget GPUs, and the x70s through x90s are for high performance applications, like gaming or CAD (computer assisted design). The 770 is probably overkill for your use, but maybe a 660 or 670 would suit you well.

Hi, I've read there are different versions, the latest being A03. Dell claims that you will always get the latest version from them. Do you know the version guarantee on this model?

You are correct there are multiple version of this monitor.  You can make sure that you're getting the later model by looking at the number of supported colors or inputs.  The new version supports 1.07 billion colors and does not have a VGA input.
