Pros: Heavy duty construction, awesome clarity, multiple interface options, multiple cables included, superb packaging, this is a wow in every way.
Cons: The only minor complaint I can possible squeeze out is the difficultly in connection to the built in usb 3 hub, it is on the back under a cover plate that is difficult to access without turning the monitor around.
Overall Review: I bought two of these for myself & my wife as combined christmas & birthday gifts, we are both happy campers now. WE LOVE Them! Sale price rocked too. 12 Months later & still very, very satisfied!
Pros: This was on discount with Newegg, so I decided to buy it. It was to replace a 24" Asus and a 20" viewsonic. It does replace them both with room to spare. This is huge, with crystal clear images all the way across. There is some panel bleed at the edges. I haven't had an major issues with it, just on the background of the desktop. I can overlook it, as so many monitors and TV's have this issue. I like the built in speakers, the sound quality isn't great, but I wasn't expecting to have Bose surround out of my monitor. They work as advertised. This has tons of adapters on it, from mini-DP to HDMI, to full DP, DVI-D (I think) to VGA. It comes with the cables you'd need to get it hooked into anything. This actually has an MHL port as well, which no one has mentioned at all. This works pretty flawlessly and really sets this monitor apart. It is fully adjustable on height, swivel and tilt, which takes a few to get used to. Once you have it dialed in, you can actually get the correct feel for the curved nature of the panel. When it wasn't dialed in correctly, I saw the backlight bleed. Easy to fix. The response time is incredible. I use the monitor for a lot of things, from work items (spreadsheets, SQL queries and general work) and fun. I tested it on Diable 3 as well as FB2 engine games. The increase in performance was HIGHLY obvious. Running Precision X 16, I could monitor frame rates versus my old Asus. The Asus was 1080p, and would run D3 at around 60-80 FPS on high graphics settings under game load (EVGA 980 ACX 2.0). I'd get a bit of screen stutter here and there. I run it on the new monitor in Full Screen Windowed mode so I get teh full 3440 x 1440, and screen stutter is almost non existent. Game runs at 80FPS under high load and 120FPS under normal load. On FB2 engine games, I've seen frames as high as 299FPS, and as low as 160FPS. All in all, an amazing monitor. It didn't hit the 5 eggs, but pretty close, I'd call it 4.5/5 for one reason only....
Cons: No power supply. There is nothing more annoying than having a bad power supply on a monitor. This one is fine as of now, but I have had a lot of onboard power supplies die in monitors. I can't stand it. For the price dell is offering, give me an external PWS in the event it goes bad. I'd rather spend $100 on that than $700 on a new monitor.
Overall Review: I can't wait to keep using it. It makes my other "good" monitors seem like pieces of junk
Pros: This is a beautiful monitor, and a show stopper with curb appeal. The colors and the detail this thing displays is solid, as with all Dell UltraSharp monitors. I am a UI/UX designer by trade and a Creative Director full-time, so I am constantly using this guy to go through digital and on rare occasion, print projects. Having this monitor, it's almost like having a 4k monitor but not quite. It just doesn't make sense for someone who do what I do to get a 4k because the pixels will be way too small for it to be practical. I'll spend more time zooming in and out of project than actually working on it. Color accuracies aside, before I switched to this, I was using the Dell ultrasharp premier color 30" model at work. The pixel on that was a lot bigger, and this one a lot smaller. Both produces excellent color reproductions and are relatively accurate in comparison to the standard monitors. Price point wise, there are definitely a lot cheaper widescreen 21:9 monitors, but I wanted something that gets rid of the need to have double monitors and also looked nice on my desk. Quite honestly, I really don't notice the curve. So I think that's quite gimmicky. BUT, I do like the fact that I no longer have a stupid divide in the middle (as with double/side by side monitors) and it changes my workflow significantly. Instead of having one screen as my primary screen and the other for tools and assets, I find that I am using the center of this as my primary workspace, with tools scattered aside and using just the edges for everything else. My neck definitely doesn't crane as hard as it use to I guess.
Cons: Price and the curve. I know it's odd that I say that but honestly, the curve on this thing is so subtle, you really do not notice it. I was hoping it to be more of an immersive experience but it's not. The price is definitely, for there are a lot of other similar and cheaper monitors in this category. I think if Dell drop this down $200 it would definitely dominate the market for this tier.
Pros: SO accurate. This beats every LCD screen I've owned. My old and expensive SGi CRT wasn't even this good in its day. 0 issues. No dead or stuck pixels. No light bleed. No dings, scratches, imperfections of any kind. It's a wonderful size for a single monitor setup. Having no gaps between screens is also enjoyable. Perfect for timeline based workflows. Wish I had this back when I was exclusively a videographer. The curve is the perfect amount. You usually don't notice it at all but watching high-resolution videos or gaming the curve is very nice. Just slightly more immersive than without it. When working on a project(especially an application with a timeline the curve helps keep your eyes from excessive seeking. It's a great and well thought out size.
Cons: The arrange options are not quite as seamless as they could be. Windows 10 more or less does a better job than the Dell software. This isn't really a con. Windows 10 nails it. Wacom/Graphics tablet users may have some issues. I setup a screen lock to the left side of the screen in the Wacom settings for the resolution of 1920x1440 and configured a Photoshop workspace similarly. Working great now!
Overall Review: I was hesitant to make this purchase because I had my eye on a color calibrated 32" 4k screen and thought I would miss the vertical real estate(which I do, but rarely). I moved and needed to switch my home office to a smaller space where my 3 vertical displays running a res of 3600x1920(3x24") took up too much space. At my warehouse, I used a 29" LG 2560x1080 display and didn't enjoy it. This extra resolution and size make this a perfect fit for a single monitor desk. I've had no issues using this with my Quadro K2200 and outdated workstation setup(i7-2600, 16gbram, 2x 4-SSD-RAID0) I'm an automotive photographer and I think the color representation on this monitor on the "standard" settings are pretty incredible. DataColor Color Spyder 5 suggested no changes! I actually went back and tweaked some of my more popular works after getting this because the color depth is very accurate. 30-bit color is incredible! I even notice an improvement in my images when I showcase them on an LG 4kTV(upgraded 65LA9650) I can't wait for someone to create a 5160x2160 display for my next upgrade!
Pros: if you like a dual-monitor setup but really dislike the transition between two, not to mention the bezels, this is a no-brainer if you can get it on sale. Great picture and color. Have not tried the sound. I have the A01 revision, fwiw, and I purchased it in October 2015. I always check the rev for monitors since sometimes the channel might have an older version than buying from Dell directly. As of the purchase date, A01 was still the latest.
Cons: the light bleed in the corners that some have mentioned is quite noticeable if your screen saver has kicked in, but I don't notice it in regular use, only in that scenario -- black. I use a single color background for Windows, a dark blue, and it's not something that's ever even drawn my eye. Same with full-screen images, too -- no biggie.
Pros: Color rendition is spectacular, more content than I imagined that works well, and I even discovered that 3D works well, (I have a GTX 970). Almost exclusively used for gaming and it is fabulous - very immersive. There is slight light bleed in the corners but during gameplay I cannot see it. The 3440x1440 resolution is perfect.
Cons: None I can think of.
Overall Review: I Love, Love, and did I say Love this monitor - Forget 4k AND GET one of these.
Pros: Easily integrates into Windows environment without any scaling issues. The IPS screen is beautiful to look at, will make other screens look terrible in comparison. Gaming on this screen is great to look at, I have two monitors, and the 6880x1440 resolution (dual monitor) is amazing for RTS games, almost too much real estate. In productivity, I can have three open screens of different applications and there is no crowding on one screen; I highly recommend if the issues with 4K (scaling, frame rates) are a concern. I have not regretted getting this monitor(s). I have two.
Cons: The bezel on the edge keeps it from being a better experience in FPS games (if you have two). In certain applications, finding the right combination of settings for the 21:9 aspect ratio; this is the one con in that most applications are set up using the 4:3, 16:9, or 16:10. However, the resolution is 3440x1440, which is supported, so I do not notice this at all. If you are concerned about light bleed, I have seen it from the edges of the screen, but only when I am awaiting for the OS to boot. That's it.
Overall Review: I did not purchase this through Newegg, (B-Day Gift), but Newegg has the better prices on this monitor. A LOT of reviewers made me hesitate getting this monitor because they consider this a 'niche' monitor, yet had glowing things to say about it. I find this short sided and paradoxical. When they arrived and I set them up, I have been happy with them ever since.

Pros: The pros of this monitor are the specs, the reason that I bought it in the first place. Size, resolution and good productivity value particularly with the text sharpness for Windows. I did weeks of research and ended up returning the competing Samsung 34in curved monitor. Once I saw this great price on the Dell 34in, which I saw 2x in a 4 week period, I went for it. I'm pleased. No dead pixels, and the IPS glow, while noticeable in dark rooms when dark backgrounds are present in the corners, isn't that bad. It's non- existent in Windows itself, can't tell it's their either with the games I play (Skyrim, Call of Duty series). It's nothing I feel like returning the unit for or calling support, I will put it that way. I really like the Dell Display Monitor app that lets me control the display aspect of the monitor. The 5ms-8ms+ response time doesn't hamper my game play. Another reason I went with this over the Samsung was the longer warranty.
Cons: The buttons are not as responsive as I would like them. The display monitor app helps with that, but only in Windows. Can't really use the app in a game or in a movie, unless you can pause them and break out to Windows desktop. Would have been nice to control the monitor with an OSD that responses to keyboard functions, sort of like a KVM. The sound from the speakers is fine for what they are, but no bass, which I expected. So is it a con, maybe not.
Overall Review: I really don't believe anything is perfect, however this monitor comes the closest and it really fits my needs. The first day or two, I didn't know what to do with all the screen real estate. I had to enlarge the text size in Windows 8 to medium, as well as have my browser zoom in 125%, otherwise text was two small. So with all this real estate, I have a couple of RDP sessions, a VMware workstation, about 15 browsers each with many tabs, AMIDuos (Andriod on Windows), Google Hangouts, Excel, Word, Visio, Notepad++ all running and I find I can multi task much better compared to my 24 inch. I use to run a multi-desktop window manager with my 24. Don't feel I need to do that any more. Obviously everything can't fit at once, but I can navigate and have 3 or so apps on the screen at the same time right the right window resizing. I'm pleased with the monitor, especially since I got it for $650. I really like this monitor coupled with the Dell msa14 monitor arm. I went from a 24 inch Samsung 1920x1080 monitor to this, what an improvement to productivity. I ordered this item the morning of Black Friday, and well, Newegg's ordering and fulfillment system was not up to the user load, it didn't ship until the following Wed and I got it Friday, so a week later. Customer service did give me a gift card for my troubles. I also upgraded from a ASUS AMD 7790 to an ASUS R9 380 so I can drive this monitor at native resolution. I would recommend the R9 380 as well for the productivity user and occasional gamer. Not all content is 21:9, but I knew that going in.
