Does it have a beeper to let you know when it is done brewing?

I Do not think so I have never been around when it has finished brewing always off other doing something else, or had it set to auto start.

Question 2

Does the water distribute over the grounds through one or two holes or more in a "shower" configuration with lots of holes? Thanks.

It's not easy to see so I felt up there and it feels like 3 holes pour down on the coffee grounds. I will say that the grounds are all sufficiently wet after a brewing. The grounds in the edge of the reusable filter have the same degree of wetness as the middle. The filter stays half full of water during the brewing process. I hope this helps!
