The DCG405FN-XJ is a brushless angle grinder powered by a DeWalt® 20v XR lithium-ion battery. The DCG405F also features an electronic clutch and quick-acting brake to prevent kickback or disc blowout, and an accessory that quickly stops rotation in under 2 seconds. The machine is activated by a side-mounted slide switch and has built-in restart protection; if the battery dies or becomes disconnected while the angle grinder is running, a no-voltage release system resets the switch, preventing it from automatically restarting when power is restored. Its slim, streamlined body, with rubber overmold, provides excellent comfort, grip, and control, while the compact bevel gearbox allows for better access to tight spaces.
