Self-leveling Mode: when the pendulum is unlocked, the self-leveling mode is enabled. If the surface inclines over 4 degrees, it will keep flashing to remind you of the out-of-level condition.
Manual Mode: Slide the power switch to the locking position, press and hold the top button for 3 seconds, then you can place the laser tool at various angles to project non-level straight lines.
