how does the headset feel over extended periods of wear?
is the headset comfortable?

I personally think they are very comfortable. I have large ears so i usually have an extremely hard time finding any over ears that fit all the way around and dont squeeze me in the process. they do start to feel a little warm after about 6 hours for me (nothing with the internal workings just simply having the material covering my ears for that long) but apart from that, they are very comfortable. on a side note, if you live in an area with below freezing temps these things keep your ears warm on long walks.

is this a 7.1 surround sound headset?

No. It's stereo only.

Does this headset come in a wireless configuration or must I be wired to my usb?

It is not wireless. Also, It plugs into your Audio jack. It has micro USB ports on the headset itself to connect the cord to the headset. You get 2 cords. A 9foot cable, and a 3foot cable.

Is this headset compatible with Xbox One? If not, are their adapters to make it compatible?

the new xbox one elite controller comes with a 3.5mm headset port, but I still don't know if it'll work as intended

does the headset light up? on their official website it shows videos of it lighting up to sound but it doesn't seem to in person

Though it seems to have a place that could light up, I have never seen it do so. I believe the reason for this is hat there's no power to light it up. it connects through your audio and sound jack. If it were to connect to your computer through a USB cable, and not through an audio port, I believe it would. I would shoot a message to Tt eSPORTS Facebook page, and see what they can tell you.

Question 6

Does anyone know when the White version will  be released?

There is no release Date, but they have said that they will be re-releasing the Level 10 M Headset with USB connectivity, and built in LEDs that light up. I assume the White version will be available when this happens. They have hinted at at mid - late 2014, but again, no specific release dates.
