Plug & play microphoneIndependent microphone box: Plug & play microphone for quick communication with your teammates.
Pros: Fits comfortably, strong chord, and adjustable volume.
Honestly, they look pretty cool.
Cons: It leaks sound and doesn't block sound. I can hear everything around me while I have these headphones on, and people around me can hear what I hear (well, faintly). This is kind of a problem since I have a roommate, and I can hear his loud music through my own.
The headphones don't really sound that good. Honestly, for $60, it could be much better. The bass is pretty low, compared to other good headphones.
The mic is a little bit inconvenient. It's difficult to clip it to a place that picks up your voice well. I've also had some trouble with the mic in the past. It had so much static that people couldn't hear anything I said. This was eventually fixed, but it shows that the mic isn't top quality.
High quality, comfortable, light12/5/2011 6:22:03 AM
Pros: The sound quality is pretty good, and it fits around my ears with extra space to provide. The headset has velvet cushions which at first I thought was weird but now I love the feature; it's awesome and comfy. It has it's own volume control as well. The mic quality it good as well according to my friends whom use TS3 and Ventrilo often with me.
Cons: The headset overall is pretty large. Also the band beneath the plastic arc of the headset to help with it fitting properly on your head is rubber, which kinda hurts if you move the headset because it pulls on your hair.
Overall Review: In other comments people complain about the mic, but it really isn't that big of a deal. Just clip it to the headset's wire and you'll be fine.
I disagree with the bad reviews11/1/2011 12:09:02 PM
Pros: Sound is good, very comfortable, nice long cord with included velcro tie for management. Mic is very good. Separate cords for the mic and headphones are a little weird but I make it work. It's kind of cool that you can just clip the mic to whatever.
Cons: Not so mind blowing as to be worth 60 bucks. I got them to replace a $200 pair of sony headphones my cat chewed through, and they certainly don't compare to that.
Overall Review: Saw the bad reviews on this item and had to counter them somewhat. Not a bad gaming headset, just a tad expensive. I've had a hard time finding a quality mic for gaming, so to me it was almost worth it.
Pros: Super comfortable, the auto-adjusting headband works great, it makes it feel like the ear cups are floating around your ears. They are HUGE, which is great since I have a large head. The sound is very good in games and music, and the I have been told the mic is very clear, even if it does pickup a bit of background noise.
I was actually surprised by the quality of the headset, it is all plastic, but seems to be made pretty durably. The Cables are all braided and match the color of the headset. The detached mic was a bit odd at first, but it works very well if you clip it on to the cable for the head set.
Cons: It's white so it does get dirty easily.
Overall Review: Great headset for the price, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality mid-range gaming headset.
Pros: Very comfortable. They go completely around your ear. The sound is fantastic. The design of the part that goes around your ears is such that it sounds like you're actually listening to speakers on your desk. You can hear other things in the room as if you have no headphones on at all. This is great for me since I game with another person in the room with me. I actually forget that I even have these on.
Cons: The microphone that comes with it seems like it was an afterthought by the manufacturers. It's its own separate thing that has a clip on it. I clip it on to the headphone cord and then hang that over my other ear to get the mic to dangle just off my chin. That seems to be the only way for me to get it to pick up my voice well enough to use it.
Overall Review: The clumsiness of the mic is almost bad enough to get me to down grade this review a star. But I really love the sound and comfort of the headset. The part that I really love the most, is how well I can hear the sound from my computer AND the other sounds in the room. I can have a conversation with someone else in the room while still listening to the game and vent without a problem. I don't have to have one side off my ear to accomplish that like I do with my other headsets.
I've never had my ears graced by such perfection8/31/2011 2:56:26 PM
Pros: Upon reading that this product had none other than velvet ear cushions I had to order them immediately.
Shaking with excitement as they arrived at my door I quickly tore into the box with my pocket razor and placed them on my head. I moaned in pleasure at the heavenly comfort to which my ears were graced. I've never experience such luxurious perfection in my life.
Cons: The headset was so amazingly comfortable I refused to remove them and they ruined my life. My wife asked me to remove them while we were making love, after two weeks straight of refusing her she left me, it's okay though I no longer need or desire the comfort of a woman as I have these amazing headphone.
My boss asked me to remove them at work and after putting my foot down he fired me on the spot.
On my way home from the bar I couldn't hear the police officer's sirens behind me and was apprehended for evading arrest.
These headphones ruined my life by being too amazing.
Overall Review: I'm still wearing my headset so everything is great.
Pros: I took the plunge for being the first to buy and try these sets out and let me tell you guys. At this price this head set is a monster..Admittedly I don't think Thermaltake when it comes to headsets. What made me realize their stuff is on point was looking at a review on PCgamer for their older eSports shock head sets. A very nice 92% score on them.. These happen to be newer and adds the Big 50mm Driver..What you get is a very Clear BOOMing BASS that has decent balance in tones and will punch your ears with a full sound not too many head sets can do. To say I am impressed is an understatement. Music as well as Gaming, what they were intended for shines on a whole new level with these head sets. While looking Big n heavy, they are light and very comfortable on your head. No pinching or squeezing feeling of any type they just fit very nice around your head and the CANS completely cover your ears..Once plugged into your sound card in your PC. Get ready for some serious sound!!
Cons: Almost had to return these as when I initially got em I thought the left speaker was busted as it would rattle.. After tinkering around a bit the culprit was the Extension volume housing for the headset with the volume nob.. I have to have the volume on full 100% for there to be no rattle but not a big deal as I control the volume in other ways.. The plug n play Microphone has its advantages but the sound quality on em are just ok, they get the job done during in game chats. What was more important to me was how these CANs sounded during game play.
Overall Review: Tested using my Soundcard and BFBC2 and COD Black Ops..I heard things for the first time using these sets and that put a huge smile on my face. The spacial surround recognition in the head set is definately a huge plus. They sound like I have 8 quality speakers around me at all times. The GUN sounds that pound from these head sets NEED to be HEARD..
They give a fuller richer sound than anything I have and I have used head sets that cost 3 times more..I think there is always an element of risk when buying good head sets at any price but these.. With out a doubt on my mind a extremely great value per buck..

Good headset9/7/2011 2:59:31 PM
Pros: Good affordable headset, VERY comfortable, good quality and nice mic. Cords are long too.
Cons: feels a little flimsy but with any electronic, as long as your not mentally challenged you shouldn't break anything.
