Question 1

Is this case red or black? newegg states its red, and the pictures match, but the product description if for the black version. So which one is it?

I bought this case, so I can answer your question. This case is red, as shown in pictures, it has slightly pink tint, though. So it is not 100% red, it's like mix of red & pink color and I really like it. Definitely it is not black, and even description says: "DIYPC V3plus-R", where R stands for Red!

Question 2

Specifications state that 4x40mm fans are useable/optional.  Where do they get installed?  And can additional fans be placed in the case?  How would this be done?

It's hard to see, but if you look at the photo that shows the case's profile without a lid (it's shot at an angle, shown in the description, not the product photos), you'll notice a vent with holes on either side of it between the holes for the PSU and the I/O panel. This is where you can put up to 4 fans. I have 4 fans installed, so I can attest to that.

Additional fans can (I guess) be installed, but it be a little difficult to squeeze them in.The only place I saw where it would be able to fit was on the bottom of the case. Consider, though, that this is also where hard disks are mounted, so if you have more than one, there will be no place to put the fan. Just make sure you put the included feet on the case to ensure that it's elevated enough to let air come in; if you don't the bottom is flush with the surface that's supporting it.

Question 3

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the screws on the side panel? I lost two of them while replacing something inside my pc. I've tried to email DIYPC but they won't respond back.

I pulled one from my case to check.

The threads are 4mm or 1/8" and the length is 3/16"

The screw head is a "flathead" or "countersunk" type with phillips or cross pattern.

I was wondering if this case supported the 158mm noctua u12 heatsynch?

Not sure about the Noctua, but I can say for sure that the Gelid Solutions Slim Hero fit with room to spare. There's a lot more room in this case than you'd expect! And the Slim Hero is configured to leave plenty of room for normal height RAM, which I was pleasantly surprised by--it didn't block any of the slots at all.

What are the dimensions? Like are the measurements L*W*H or what?

I'd say nothing bigger than a gtx 760 maybe if your lucky a 770 which i believe is about 200mm or 7 inches give or take

Can we put both a 3.5" and a 2.5" HDD into this case?

By default all cases have at least one 3.5" HDD drive bay, and 2.5" drives can have adapter brackets attached so they fit into a 3.5" slot.

anyway to fit a Micro-ATX MB in here.. looking to use an AMD processor/MB combo and usally the mb's are micro-atx vs. mini-itx?

Short answer: No.  There are many mini-ITX mobos out there that can deliver some awesome performance though.
