Getting started with your Dremel Pet Nail Grinder
Get familiar
Introduce the tool to your pet, powered off, let them sniffand get comfortable with the device. Once comfortable, power on the tool and let them accustomed to the sound.
Start slow
Start slow and work your way to each nail and paw. Gently apply the grinder to the bottom of the nail tip, and slowly bring it up and around to the top of the nail tip. When you reach the top of the tip, work back down to your starting point.
Treats, treats, treats
Continuos postive reinforcement will encourage calm behavior and reassure your pet throughout the process.
Have fun
If your pet is feeling anxious, take play breaks and make the experience fun. The more you groom your pet nails at home, the more comfortable they'll become over time.
