Does this NAS come with hard drives?

This Drobo does not have any hard drives, I have been using it for 6 months, and I am very satisfy with the functionality and the speed, I use it for home and had lost power several times and didn't seems to affect the Drobo. To me it's very easy to use and set up.

Does the unit automatically restart after a power outage?

I have unplugged it several times while sorting the wiring on my work station and it has restarted with no issue.
