How far can I overclock my 6th Gen i5 3.5GHz with this?

I wouldn't recommend trying to use this cooler fan when overclocking. I am using it because of the small case I purchased and space was a problem. I have a 3.0 Core 2 CPU and tried to overclock it to 3.5 and it locked up. If you are wanting to overclock the CPU, I would recommend a large tower and a vertical fan cooler using a pair of 120 or 140 fans and 6-8 cooling tubes. Another would be a liquid cooler.

Has anyone tried to install this on a Biostar TP-55 (LGA 1156) motherboard? I ordered this fan and got it today. I really wanted to use it, but there are some capacitors to the left of the cpu that prevent the bracket from on that side from making contact to the motherboard. Anyone have any advice for this or should i just return the fan?

return it and get one that fits. its hard to make adjustments. once the are permanently installed.
