Will this work with an AMD APU 7870k? I have good case fan airflow (3x 120s Nutura).

I have one on an intel i7 5820k it does ok as long as the cpu runs less than 70% but if the cpu runs at 90% it lags I have 5 fans on my case but I made a plastic duct to redirect 1 fan to the cooler there are versions of this cooler with a built on fan and it do much better on an other computer that i built with identical set up but i still this cooler without the fan on the first machine so ...
