The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09 is a room air purifier and fan that senses and traps pollutants, detects and destroys formaldehyde, and circulates purified air. It suits people seeking whole-room purification with cooling airflow and smart-app or voice control.
Recommended For
- Households concerned about formaldehyde from new flooring, furniture, carpets, or other indoor materials can use the TP09 to monitor for formaldehyde and treat it with its catalytic filter.
- People who want one appliance for air purification and occasional personal cooling can use its fan and purifier together; testing found the airflow useful, though not as strong as a dedicated fan.
- App-oriented users who want to check indoor air-quality readings and control the purifier remotely can use the MyDyson app, which reviewers found responsive and detailed.
- People who want purification without a direct stream of cool air can use backward or diffused airflow, a mode reviewers found useful when they wanted the purifier running without feeling the fan.
